FREE Stamp Set of the Month – Affection Collection

Today was a rainy day which means MORE HUMIDITY!!! What the heck, this summer is horrible, and I keep telling Jeff that maybe that cortisone shot made me go into premenopause, he says I am too young, (gotta love him for saying that – heck I wouldn't want to be married to an old woman either, especially a sweaty one) but I don't know I hate this weather.  I am so looking forward to the cool Utah weather in just a few days!  Yikes so much to do. I have my 10/10/25 Christmas card classes all weekend and I still have to get my Founder's Circle and GoDiva swaps done…good thing I get my own hotel room, I'll be taking lots of naps.

This is one of the cards from our Fall Fest, and it was a catalog almost case. We changed it a bit to make it a bit easier for the day, but still adorable. I need to look to see if I showed all the projects yet.

I love the ribbon slides, but this was actually a thin piece of cardstock in it.

Stamp Set: Heart of Christmas

Paper: Crumb Cake, Garden Green

Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green

Misc: Houndstooth embossing folder, 7/8" cotton ribbon, designer ribbon slides, Cherry Cobbler bakers twine, Cherry Cobbler dotted scalloped ribbon (underneath the stamped image to give the look of scallop paper…with no punching!!! Gotta love it!

Added since post since people are emailing me:

Question: How did you get the CHRISTMAS arched piece

Answer: I just stamped the greeting twice, once in Garden Green and once in the Cherry Cobbler.  Then I just used scissors to cut around the word Christmas and made little fish tail ends, I just used glue dots and attached it right over top the Garden Green stamped image.

Well this sweaty old woman has to get to bed so I can get up early to finish setting up.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

I know you are super busy but could you explain how you got the curved banner that says "Christmas"? I absolutely love this card. Have fun at Founders!

Great card! I'm stumped! How did you get that lovely flawless arched piece?

I loved this card at Fall Fest. I actually came home and was looking through my Holiday catalog and found the inspiration for this card. I must admit, I like the extra layer you added better than the original.

I saw you duck into Moreno's last night…I was had just started a phone call or I would have chased you down to say hello! 🙂 I hope your dinner was as good as mine.

Have a wonderful Saturday and good luck getting everything finished.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
