I wanted to share how big everyone is getting, so I went out and a took some pics and a video. Enjoy!
Here is Chiquita, she is getting lots of browns and reds and a bit of black on her. Alice has her eye peeled to make sure I am only taking pictures.
Look at Butterball, she is getting lots more black on her now.
Mork and Butterball, see how easy it is to tell them apart?
Mork & Mindy...hey I couldn't resist!
The little black ones are harder to tell apart because their color is not really changing, I love the little mohawk.
Looking in the big pen, still not sure when I will put them all in there. Maybe in a couple weeks?
Walkin' the plank! Aye matie!
Fiji and I, she pretty much is right by me all the time (I swear if you could house train a chicken she would live in the house)...I love my new sloggers. Keeps the chicken poop off my toes...hence why Fiji does NOT live in the house...ha!
I haven't killed the plants yet...yeah! The girls love them. When I start to water, they can't get over there fast enough to play in the water, and see what bugs pop up.
Chukar 15...ok just kidding they don't have names...BUT if they did...
..this would be Jack, Crissy, Janet, Larry (he's the one headed to his bedroom as he has a date - ha!), Mr. Roper (up stairs being all nosey) and Mrs. Roper (mingling with the roomates). Please tell me you know who I am talking about...ha!
Here's a video, so you can hear how cute the chicks are...
Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.
People used to say that about Arizona, even I said it, but really lately the humidity has been so high and when it is 112 degrees it is miserable, and I am constantly sticky and OMG! my hair!!! Curly and nuts, I told Jeff I was cutting it all off, and he said no. He likes it long. I told him I give it till winter and if it didn't straighten out (no pun intended) off it goes. I don't mind the curly part, but it feels frizzy too.
We had a blast today at Fall Fest, I'll post more pics throughout the week, but this old gal is whooped and I need a shower and I wanna put on my pj's. Even the cardstock felt weird today like extra moisture in it...anyway.
This was one of the make n takes we did today, an easy but adorable glass ornament. With strips of Festival of Prints DSP rolled into it.
Maybe making the ornament made us think of winter and snow...nope it's still hot and muggy, but I think everyone liked it!
We just used new cotton ribbon tied on top, and some black satin to hang it on the tree, and a little greeting hooked on with a vintage trinket pin! Put a little shredded paper in the bottom of our craft boxes and voila' what a cute gift.
OK, I wasn't kidding about the shower, someone's stinky, and Toby is looking at me saying "and it aint me Mum".
...well the goodie bags are anyway. I took a quick picture mid-stuff.
Today I was over at Rhonda's and we got all the bags stuffed, I have the embellishments to sort and bag and Rhonda is doing the ribbons and then we will get it all finished up in the morning. I can't wait to see everyone on Saturday and see if they like everything. I'll share the projects after the event.
Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
