So I looked up Brood Patch (thanks Michelle), and sure enough that is what Alice is doing, she has removed her feathers so that she can heat up the eggs. But right now she is trying to hatch 2 golf balls and a fake egg. We have a neighbor that has fertilized eggs, he has roosters, so he is going to give me some eggs to put under Alice to see if she will hatch them. I am excited for her, she wants to be a Mum. If they hatch we will put her inside that side pen we had built before but put it in the big pen, so she can look after her babies till they get bigger and keep the other girls away from the chicks. I hope it works. It takes 21 days. My fingers are crossed.
I also played around with my card from yesterday, here are some that I did.
Not bad, I think it is too busy with the fan emossing, the picture at this angle is not bad, but when you are looking at it in real I think it is too much.
This is a bit better, I added some pearls.
Here's the one from yesterday with the pearls added.
So I think I have it figured out, but after all the embossing, and cutting, I am going to rest me old arm and go to bed.
Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.
Love the card with Baja Breeze. But then all of them are fabulous.
I love the one with the baja breeze with it; I hope that's the one you decided on!
love the Baja Breeze! hang in there with your arm.
Pretty cards. LOVE the one with the Baja Breeze. It has a WOW factor for sure!!
LOL Di,
Let me know what hatches out of those golf balls. I like the Baja Breeze one too, the consistency of color makes it beautiful and elegant.
