Today I ran some errands, I had some things to pick up for convention.  I didn't realize that after a cortisone shot you are a little more sensitive to the sun.  I am no longer the whitest person in Arizona. Ha! It has been so long since I had a sun burn I was not sure what was wrong. I was watching a movie and my arms were hot and I was like well that is weird, I mean to have a fever and just on my arms. So I went and looked in the mirror and sure enough I have like a farmers burn on my arm.  I put some lotion on, it is not like it is going to peel it is not that bad.  But who would have thought.  Heck I was not even hardly in the sun, just going in and out of stores and walking to my truck.

So tonight Jeff and I watched the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, I had read the books and knew it would be violent, it was and they were as tasteful as they could be, but I thought they did an awesome job and did the book justice. I can't wait to see the next two, will have to Google to see if and when they are coming out.

I also played around with a swap card, this if my first draft.  I think I want to emboss the framelit shape, and oh I forgot to add pearls on the sides, funny how you notice things after you take the picture.  I love this set and am just trying to figure if I leave the teapot on that framelit shape or choose another. It felt good to be stamping again, I took it easy on the paper cutting.  Will do more tomorrow, I have been doing my exercises and I hope they are helping. I guess I won't really know until my shot wears off eh?

Your card is very beautiful as it is and I'm sure anything you add will only make it more so. Thanks for sharing such talent.

I went to see Girl With the Dragon Tattoo with a friend who hadn't read the books. She had NO idea what was going on for the first 2/3 of the movie! I thought Rooney Mara was very good as Lisbeth, and Daniel Craig was okay. I think lots of actors could have played that part. I'm looking forward to the next two movies.

Oh, and pretty card! Pearls on the sides will make it even better!

I take it you watched the American version with Daniel Craig?? All 3 movies are already out in the Swiss version or whatever nationality they are in…if you rent them – you just have to do into the settings and chose that you want to watch them in English and they really do a great job of dubbing the words in English – personally – I wish the girl who had of played Lisbeth in the Swiss movie had of been the one to play it in the American one – I like her way better. But they were both good in their own way.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
