Another One?

This 'n' That

6 Jul

Yes another off the wall kinda topic.  I had hoped to get some stamping done today, but I got into seeing my doc again, he had me go for xrays, and he thinks it might be my rotator cuff.  How the heck could that be? I mean heck I aint a sport person, I wonder if I jarred it on one of the rides at Disney, some of them were jerky, maybe it didn't settle in till I got home.  Kinda like whip lash you know?  I am going to go to the chiropractor tomorrow, I figure an adjustment can't hurt as I do feel tension in my neck and back from my stupid shoulder. I told Jeff the other day, my Granny is 93, and some days I doubt I make it to 53.  Ok just kidding, but really no more already.

So when I was looking on Facebook this morning I saw this picture.

Fireoriginal-1
It said something about the fireworks in San Diego, but as I was scrolling down and seeing the picture a bit at a time I thought oh this is going to be a joke and it's really the head of a bald headed man (an above view)…oops sorry it was real.  But I still think it looks like the top of a bald head…who needs a much needed hair cut…so you know me…I had to try it out.

002
Here's Jeff's head…ha! Fortunately I have never had to tell him to go cut his hair, he has always been very anal about his hair being only so long. Yay for me! So I even tried using water to make the hair stick out and I couldn't.  That will be your challenge today, all you lucky woman with a hubby with a bald head, see if you can do better.  My Poppa always said "God made only so many perfect heads, the rest he covered with hair."

Well on that note, this old gal is headed to bed.

Have an awesome Friday – which will seem like Tuesday since today seemed like Monday, cause Wednesday seemed like Sunday…please tell me I was not the only one all messed up yesterday and today.

LOL! You got me laughing so hard! I can't believe that Jeff would actually pose for a photo like that! You might've had some success with some hair gel, LOL! I had a good laugh yesterday because my husband's AARP membership card arrived in the mail. His 50th birthday is on the 11th. He's balding and old. I can laugh at that, too, because I'm much younger than he is. Good thing is that I didn't lose bladder control over these two incidents, LOL!!!!!!!

When I saw this photo, I thought it looked more like a sea urchin. I think your interpretation is funnier. I'll have to look at my husband's head to see if he matches it (although, his remaining hair is much shorter.)
That San Diego story was rather amusing. Due to a malfunction somewhere, they got twenty minutes worth of fireworks in less than a minute. I am sure a lot of those waiting for the display were greatly disappointed. (The rest of us get a good giggle.)
And I am still trying to figure out what day it is.

ok, you busted me up again, this morning… I have to agree about the top picture, it really does look like a bald head with too long of hair. And your hubby really is a great guy for letting you take a pic of his head…. He's definitely a keeper…..

And I really hope that you're not having rotator cuff issues….not a fun surgery and then Jeff is gonna have to cut paper for all the cards……

Keeping positive thoughts for you and thank you for the laugh this morning

My hubby has a head full of hair, though he does keep it short. I can see how you first thought those fireworks was a bald head though. LOL My days are messed up too. Hopefully the weekend will get us back on track!!!

Now about your shoulder…get it checked!!! I watch a girl on Ustream and she messed up her shoulder with a new scrapdesk not being the right height. She used a lot of Scor-Tape and does a lot of distressing with ink on her pages. She has to have surgery in Sept and will be out of commission for 6-8 weeks. I hope your drawer conversion helps you. But you have to rest your shoulder and be careful what you are doing. What happens if you can't lug all the SU boxes UPS brings to your door? YIKES

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
