So Sweet

This 'n' That

18 Jun

You are all so sweet to me.  The kind comments, messages, and emails I have gotten today mean so much.  Thank you all.  I would love to answer each and everyone of you, but I hope this is ok to do it here.  The other girls seem perfectly fine and I do wonder if they are wondering where Gertie is, but at least they are running around like normal. You all put a smile on my face today, thank you.

Speaking of smiles on my face, Jeff was in the army a long time ago (before I met him) and he is in contact once in a while (like years and years between) with a few of the guys.  Well Bill came to visit about a year ago, Martie I had met when we first moved to Arizona, and JD I had never met, Bubba couldn't make it.

So when Bill was coming to town this week he wanted to get together and today was the only day JD and his wife could do it, so Jeff and I said come on over and we would BBQ.  So Jeff smoked some ribs, put on some burgers, and we had home made salsa, and some potato salad, and beans, and it was fun listening to the stories from when the guys were younger, in fact Jeff was probably around Eric's age now when they met for the first time. It was sad to hear about friends and family that have passed on since then too.

It was nice getting to meet a couple of the wives as well. I got to show off the studio and that is always fun too.

Here they are…

Army Buddies
Jeff, Martie, J.D. and Bill

Why is it when Jeff gets talking old stories I always learn something I never knew before? We have been together since 1983 and he never ceases to amaze me. I love you honey.

Well nothing got stamped today, back to work tomorrow though.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

Nothing harder than losing a pet Di and even if she just came I am sure it is hard. But the best medicine is having people around and we all know that people are the most important things. Have a blessed day, Bev

Sorry I have been MIA. World going crazy. I just got caught up on the blog. I am so sorry about your baby. It hurts. You are still doing wonderful work and I have missed your fun and laughs. I will try not to miss so much.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
