Can ya smell it? OK well if you do it might be my new die, some of those take a little bit of time to lose that new smell…ha! I got some new rubber yesterday, and boy I wanted to play sooo bad, but I had the Quarters for a Cause event to go to. I promised to show you my table decorations.

I used some of our cardstock as "placemats" and found some fun festive plates and cutlery at the store.  See those cute party hats? They are in the clearance rack and are so easy to put together, I didn't attach the stretchy string that came with them cause I figured the girls wouldn't actually wear them. They were for color and fun and also to hide…

…their goodies, they each got some of our new embellishments, a pack of Naturals Designer Buttons, and Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons, they are both beautiful in completely different ways. Oh the thing on top is a turtle…ha! gotta have chocolate. Ellie was such a doll and she even brought some amazing munchies…thanks Ellie I do believe I will hire you for the next time. Love you!

After you pop the hats out of the 12×12 piece of paper there was edges of paper left over so I didn't waste any and punched a bunch of circles out and laid them around the table.  I also grabbed some fun buttons off the clearance rack (you really need to check that out more often) and sprinkled those around the table too, and made sure the girls collected them to take home.

Oh I never showed you my table decoration from the Quarter Frenzy I went to before…remember I gave out the new catalogs and some of the new fabric and they were on the table, but it was too early to show it…

…it was set up as a tea party with cups and saucers, candles, and cookies and stuff.

My downline shoebox and potluck is tomorrow so I wanted to make a cute card that was easy and also to show them that they don't have to come up with their own ideas, swaps are awesome to get ideas, not to mention blog-land, and our catalog is a great place too, this year I think the samples are so much better, the pictures are closer up too, and I swear their watercoloring is so much nicer this year.

Here is a card off page 179 using the new cute set Animal Talk (I actually raffled that set off last night…fun!)

Stamp Set: Animal Talk

Paper: Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, Shimmery White, More Mustard

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, River Rock, Soft Suede

Misc: 1" circle punch, white gel pen

The one in the catalog used the sponge daubers but I wanted to use cardstock. I also changed the Early Espresso with the Soft Suede.

Well I better get off here, morning will get here fast and I just realized I have to run to the store in the morning…yikes!

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
