tweet...

I had a semi relaxed day today, I met my sweet friend Shannon (hey honey!) for pedicures and then I also got my nails done.  I am trying to not use my arm too much, but I don't sit still very well and just do nothing.  I have been using my laptop at a different spot to try to keep my arms in the right position for typing, but then it runs out of juice and I have to put it back and plug it in and my arm screams when I use it over there.  I need to schedule a theraputic massage I think and see if that doesn't help.  I swear the Naproxen pills the Doc perscribed are doing nothing.

After my mani/pedi I met Jeff to get some new shorts for him, he is so funny, he is like "I need three pairs, and that's it and were outta there".  We did eat supper first so it was nice kinda being on a date, Eric went to a movie with his friend Mike so we didn't have to worry about him.

I worked on my online thank you cards for June, and this is it. I love love love this set. What do you think? There is still one more day to place an order through my online store to get one of these in the mail.

Too fun.

So Alice is acting funny now.  Very sluggish, and I am hoping she is ok, it has been so hot lately, and I give them their blocks of ice each day but still.  Jeff is going to stop at Home Depot on the way home from work and get a big outside fan to hopefully help.  I talked to my friend Anna Wight (Sweet Miss Daisy) and she is my go-to person for chicken questions, and she said we are doing all we can, and that some chickens only live 2-3 years, and they are a bit over 2 years old now...so I have my fingers crossed she will be better tomorrow.  Gertie and Alice are the black ones so not sure if that is worse.  I need to look up moulting cause Alice is losing feathers on her breast so maybe it is all connected. If only they could talk.

Well I better get off here before my battery wears out.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

Fall Fest Fun

Nothing to show you today...I know how mean.  I was at Rhonda's all day today and didn't get back till late. We have our annual Fall Fest coming up so we were putting our heads together to come up with some fun make n takes for the day. Plus it seems like I have not seen Rhonda in forever so we had to catch up too.

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator we can pre-order from the new Holiday Catalog on July 1, so we can't wait to get our hands on some new stuff to try it out to see how fun it will be for the day.

If you want to be able to get your hands on new stuff first, I would love to have you join my team of amazing Demonstrators, I have girls all over the US.  The kit is only $99.00... now where can you start your own business and be your own boss for only $99.00? Don't forget the extra goodies if you join in June.

I'll be back with something fun tomorrow.

Oh yeah, don't forget you have till midnight today to get Double Country Dozen Rewards.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

Even though the new catalog has started, (don't you just love it?) the end of our year for sales is June 30th, so I was thinking I would like to end the year with a bang!

As a way to Thank You for picking me as your Stampin' Up!  Demonstrator and making this one of my best years ever, I thought how about Double the Country Dozen Rewards?

What?

Yep!

So for two days only, June 28 - June 29 until midnight, when you place an online order through my store that totals $40.00 before tax and shipping you will earn not 1 egg, but 2, order $80.00 before tax and shipping and you will earn 4 eggs, and so on. Cool eh?

The catalog is full of brand new stuff, and the clearance rack has some bargains too, so I am pretty sure you can find a few things you must have.

Here is the flyer so you can print it out and keep track.  It also explains all the other details about the rewards program.

I hosted a Favorite Stamp Set swap from the new catalog.  Usually I do it when the mini catalogs come out or preview sets, but I thought it would be fun to do this one too.  There are so many must have sets, I thought this would be fun.

I choose Storybook Friends, cause it had animals and it was a set I could color.  I picked the kitty, cause she was too cute, and I colored her kinda like a siamese cat.

Stamp Set: Storybook Friends

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.

No Hurry

Ok so this song reminds me a little bit like one of the themes for one of our Stampin' Up! conventions, just the beggining part...but OMG! I can listen to this song over and over again, and the lyrics are amazing, but when the song gets to this one part with the fiddle, at like 2:00, I become a blubbering idiot. I can't tell you why, it gives me shivers. Poppa played the fiddle, I used to and he would play by ear (he couldn't read music) and follow along with me as I practiced my lessons.  I have his fiddle and hope to some day pick it back up and take lessons again but the thought of anyone touching it to tune it and breaking it has fear in my heart so it stays in it's case.  But anyway, check out this amazing video and let me know what you think around the 2:00 part... the notes are eerily beautiful.

OK so in case you are an old sap like me and No Hurry got you blubbering, here is their new one that will have you toe tappin'.  It reminds me of my favorite band Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand.

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.
