Today I am showing you another one of my favorite swaps from the Disneyworld incentive trip. The pictures don't do this card justice at all. Stampin' Up! had all the swaps on display so that was nice.  I took some pictures of my favorite ones there and I was excited when I saw this one in my swap bag.

This is a gorgeous easel card made by Gail Lowe, thanks Gail.

I am not sure what she did for the center of the card…I even smelled it…ha! I'm weird like that. It doesn't smell like anything, but it almost looks like a cookie, or like a planet.

I love all the details she did to the card, the popped out bees, you know I love bees…well stamped ones, not real ones.

Look at all the layers in the flower, and it looks like she shimmer sprayed it too.

I have ordered more catalogs but still have a few here, so please let me know if you want one.  The catalog is my free gift to you, but I will have to get you to pay for the postage.  I can send you a paypal link for the $5.00 for the postage.  I can only mail them within the United States, thanks for understanding.

Oh and I still have some room in my local or long distance stamp club, let me know if you want more information and I can email it to you.

Well this old gal is off to bed, I am still reading Game of Thrones, but it is so hard to hold my attention there are so many characters and so many odd names, should I keep reading or start something else, does it get easier, does it get better?

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

Di, I absolutely loved Game of Thrones and I read all the follow-on books as fast as I could. It does take a little to get into all the characters and locations, but it is such a good read. I love the show on HBO, too! :^)

OMG this is pretty but it looks like a card taht would take 5 hours to make. My down line name is Bev's Busy Bees so I should case this card but not much energy for that. WOW. TFS!

Game of Thrones is a GREAT series on HBO!!!!!! It's in the second season now. I can never watch it when it's on, so I watch the recordings on HBOGO.COM. Season One is also on HBOGO.com. (If you don't have HBO, it is TOTALLY worth it to sign up — just so you can watch Game of Thrones on HBOGO.com.) The characters are so well-developed, intertwined, and complex. The wardrobes are fantastic, too. Sometimes with their accents I need to re-listen. And they have interactive features like summaries about what's going on, maps of the area, set design, wardrobe details, etc. Some of it was filmed in Iceland with real snow. I can't get enough of it!!! So after you're done reading the book, watch the series!

PS. – Loved the card and I'm still getting your blog emails. What is that flower center made of — melted crayon, embossing powder???

I LOVE that card! When I enlarged the picture of the center, it looked (to me) like pencil shavings? That might work quite well actually. May have to try it. 🙂

The center looks like a burnt oatmeal cookie! heehee

Maybe she did the burnt evaporated milk tech. for the center of flower…

Great card! I'm thinking it is maybe grated cardstock? (Similar to flower soft) Hard to tell in the photo, but definitely a cool effect! Can't believe she made those to swap.

I've got Game of Thrones (the HBO series, not the book) in my netflix queue but haven't started yet.

I just finished a fantasy series you might like–Maria V. Snyder's Poison Study, Magic Study, and Fire Study. Very interesting and fun to read.

I got through Game of Thrones and loved it – I am more than half way through the next one, Clash of kings.
Keep going – you can do it.
    Luv ya
