I am trying to stop using my mouse and only use the finger thing on my lap top, I think that might help the pain I have in my right arm since I think when I use the mouse I am at the wrong angle. Boy that thing is hard to get used to.  Is there anyplace online that teaches you how to cut and paste and all that?

I was so happy, look what came today.

My floor card display rack.  I had one for my counter, but it didn't hold enough cards and was a pain in the butt when I had to get in the cabinet it was in front of.  So I have put the counter one away for when I do events, cause it is perfect for that, but for my studio this is much better.  Thank you to my sweet friend Ellie who told me about it.  I was surprised how fast it came and it was so easy to put together.

I saw on Facebook today that the soup at The Deli was french onion and well I'm a sucker for their french onion soup so I talked Jeff into going there for supper.

Doesn't it look good? It is.

Jeff and I both ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with steak fries and grilled veggies and gravy. I didn't eat a third of mine…Jeff will have it tomorrow for lunch…I wanted to save a bit of room for this…

…carrot cake. Oops I took a bite before I remembered to take a picture. Come on, you know I can't go there and not get it, I should have been good (since I have put back on all the weight I lost at the beginning of the year) and just had the soup and the cake and skipped the supper. But at least I didn't eat it all. So that is ok…now I don't have to fix Jeff lunch tomorrow…ha!

Oh and when we got to The Deli we saw our favorite waitress Sara and she said it was her last day cause she is moving, and her cutie patootie brother Brandon that worked there too he moved out of the country. Well I am glad we went in so we could say bye. They will really be missed.

I have club tomorrow so it is good Jeff has left overs. In fact look at this cute card they are going to make. I pretty much cased it (changed the ribbon) from my friend and fellow INKredible girl Ilina Crouse. Thanks Ilina!

So this was the first time I have really sat down and stamped for real with the new style ink pads, and let me tell you, you are going to love them.  I barely had to touch the pad and the ink covered the rubber almost like magic.  It will take practice using them as we are so used to tap, tap, tapping to get the image covered in ink, especially the solid ones, but not anymore. It will be fun seeing the club girls try them out tomorrow.

So while I was finishing up stuff I had the TV on to a show called "The Singing Bee" and the blonde girl from Reba was on there as the host.  Well let me tell you the people they have singing the songs and then the contestants have to fill in the words, half of them I don't think were even singing in tune.  I don't know why they don't just play the real song that would be easier wouldn't it?  Isn't that how that "Don't Forget the Lyrics" show did it?  Maybe the show just wants to help the economy by hiring singers to do it instead of them just playing the record but in all fairness to the contestants I say, play the record already.  I felt sorry for one girl, most of the contestants got fairly recent songs and country (the show is on CMT after all) and she got a Blondie song (Heart of Glass) and missed most of the words.

Well I better hit the hay. Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

    Hi Di –

I had problems with my hand while using the touch pad too. I found it to be too much stress on my finger after awhile and it caused pains up my arm and to my elbow. I bought a good cordless mouse from Logitech. They are expensive for a good one – $50 to $70 but then you can use the mouse at any angle you want. You can put a pad on your lap and use it from there. That helped my a great deal. You just need to remember to turn it off when you aren't using it to save on the battery. Good luck!

I would also love to know where you got the card rack. I need something like that!

Also I don't know if you haev tried it but I use my left hand to operate the mouse (even though I am right handed). It took a few days to get used to but now I love it. I used to get back pains and I don't anymore. Just an idea that might work!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
