Walking Tacos

This 'n' That

9 Apr

Did you think I meant Walkie Talkie?

Nope my BFF Tracy emailed me and told me the proper name for the Tacos in a Dorito bag I talked about the other day. It does sound much cuter doesn't it?

This is what Tracy emailed me:

They are called Walking Tacos.  She has a tip too: "cut the bags down the sides then you're not digging so deep to get to everything. We use the 99 cent bags in the convenient stores." That would have been handy to do the other night.

She also sent me this picture so you can get a visual. I know that always helps me, in everything.

Walking tacos

I'm wondering, what would french fries on top of this Walking Taco taste like? Hmmmm…

I hope you had a blessed Easter.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

I'm so glad you suggested splitting the bag down the side. I am the food lady for our church's girls camp this year and this is one of our meals. Thanks for the visual. I enjoyed seeing your ingredients.

I love walking tacos and usually get them at the fair in the summer but around here we use Fritos. I've never had them with Doritos!

Have never heard of "Walking Tacos" ….but they sound fun for camping. Do you have a recipe to share?

I just made these on our Girl Scout camping trip and they were a huge hit! Thanks for this great idea. They were super quick to put together (I used Fritos as the girls thought Doritos were "weird")!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
