Fiji Baby

This 'n' That

14 Feb

002 copy

Now how many of you thought…Fiji must have had a baby when you saw the title?  Maybe I should have typed it this way…

Fiji, Baby!!!  (say it like Austin Powers)

Now it's a bit different eh?  THANKS to my awesome customers and amazing downline Jeff and I have earned the Stampin' Up! incentive trip to Fiji earlier than ever.  We earned it the first part of January, but had to wait till all the commissions were done before I got this…

Us13i_glossy
…my little icon thing, I also got one that is just the square and that is the one I put in my left hand sidebar. If you get my blog posts directly to your email, don't forget to click over once in a while to see what you are missing.  All the sidebar things don't show in your email.

Oops I missed my Blog Anniversary on Feb 11. It has been 4 years! Wow that went fast! I'll have to figure out some blog candy eh?

I wanted to show another card the girls did at class. This one I cased from Brandi Wiggins and tweaked it a bit. (Thanks Brandi)

001 copy
Stamp Set: You're A Gem, House & Home

Paper: Pool Party. Basic Gray, Whisper White, Domestic Goddess DSP, Calypso Coral

Ink: Basic Black, Calypso Coral Marker, Basic Gray Marker

Misc: Perfect Pennants Die, 2 1/2" circle punch, Striped Daffodil Delight ribbon (cut in half and then the finished side was cut off too so both edges could be frayed…I love doing this.

This is a fun card for you to give your husband or maybe your teenage kid (for them to give back to you). So on a day they are feeling extra nice and loving…they can give you this card and then you will know you get the day off from the household chores…perhaps just put a bunch of post it notes in the card, so they can write on the post it, (I love you Honey/Mummy, you are the best!) and give it to you, then the card can be re-used over and over.  I usually do that when I send out cards too…although this one would be fun to get used over and over, especially if you were the one getting it. "Oh honey really? You wanna do the dishes for me? But you cooked supper and did the laundry too.  Oh and you wanna rub my feet? What ever made me such a lucky woman?"  See isn't that nice?

Well this old gal is getting off here.  Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!

A signature white 5

Congrats on Fiji – I can appreciate the hard work it took you to get there! It was fun to say hello at the PHX Regional. See you at Spring Fling.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
