I have classes where we do Hybrid cards, part MDS (My Digital Studio) – don't forget you can get a free 30 day trial, part stamping so I thought it would be fun to do one for Spring Fling.  I love the Doily stamp and you can get it as a download, and I love the new Tea Shoppe set and it is also available as a download, so that is what I did.

I designed the front of the card and then sent it off to the printers so the cover was on the inside too.  I have a video that explains what I am talking about, it shows a different card but is the same set up. Then when the card comes you cut, layer and add your embellishments.

Wanna see all the fun stuff about it?

Here's the cover, we will add the real pleated ribbon even though I have faux ribbon printed on the card.

When you open the card there is a cute tea cup with a teabag sticking out of it.  The little MDS piece on the bottom is actually part of the front panel that we trimmed off to layer on the cardstock. Waste not, want not. To make the tea bag check out this older post.

See the teacup sits up when you open the card.

It's just glued on the little box thing we will make. The teacup is actually made in MDS too, I just blew them up and sent that off to the printer too. So cute eh?

We picked up my BFF Tracy at the airport tonight and she is whooped she had a long day, so she is in bed already, I am double and triple checking that I have everything packed so I can go to bed not too late myself.

I'll be back the next few days to show you the rest of the make n takes ok?

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
