Are You Ready? Spring Fling Sneak Peek

This 'n' That

24 Feb

013 copy

Since the girls attending Spring Fling got their project sheets emailed to them to print out I thought it would be ok to share one of the make n takes from our upcoming Spring Fling on Saturday. We used to print out colored copies and have a set or two on each table for everyone to share.  Well that got expensive and it is hard to share when someone is a faster or slower stamper than you. So the last couple events we have sent out the make n take sheets with tips a day or two before the event and that way everyone registered can print out their own colored copies and not have to share, it has worked marvelous this way and I think everyone appreciates it.

Now before you ask me (there might be one or two of you) to send you the file, I'm sorry it is just for the registered guests. I know some of you live out of state and would come if you could, but I have to say no to make it fair. BUT I will be sharing the make n takes on my blog individually so basically you are getting the information that way.  So please forgive me…ok? Mwah! Thanks!

Here's the full card and then I gotta get to bed.

009 copy
Stamp Set: None…what? Yep! these card packs are gorgeous just spruced up with some DSP, bakers twine, a button and some bling

Paper: Everyday Enchantment DSP, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Designer Cuts Card & Envelope Set

Ink: Crumb Cake just to dirty it up a bit

Misc: Ribbon border punch, Pool Party Baker's Twine, Rhinestones, Twitterpated button, Itty Bitty Punch Pack

OK wait last night I said I would talk about American Idol…so warning if you have not seen it…look away!

I missed the first 15 minutes or so tonight cause I was coming home from Rhonda's but I watched last night and the rest of tonight, so these are my notes…I'm not super familiar with people's names yet unless I really like them.

Jennifer Lopez was dressed like the Green Lantern (not near as cute as Ryan Reynolds) and it would reflect on her face which reminded me of The Great Gazoo alien from the Flinstones…I'm just saying.

It was weird some singers we heard their final song, and some we didn't.

My fave guys are: Reed Grimm (love his freakiness), Ledet, Heh Jun, Phil Phillips (another Casey) and I hope they bring back the big Jermaine (OMG, he had the biggest tears) with the deep voice they said they would bring one guy back on Tuesday, him or David that reminds me so much of Micheal Jackson, I am hoping it is not that cowboy dude…ugh!

My fave girls are: Jenn, Erika, Jessica – I don't think the girls are as strong as the guys…or at least I don't remember them as much as the guys.

I can't believe they kept Skylar…maybe she will make me eat my words, but I don't like her, and I am a country western lover, but they keep saying she is like Reba, but Skylar is too twangy.

I loved seeing ones that did not make it other years, get better with practice and make it this year.

I can't believe they let Lauren Grey go – that was a bad move, she was better than others they kept.

They kept Elise, and Lauren was better.

I think Erika should have sang a Cher song instead of the Adele song.

So Steven Tyler took off his clothes down to his undies, mooned the camera and got censored, and jumped in the water and after seeing his saggy skin, I am wishing he had of left his wild looking pants on…you know it is best left to the imagination, I had to go rinse out my eyeballs.

OK now I really gotta go to bed.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

I like american idol too and it sounds like you like alot of the ones that I like. I am always happier when they start the live shows. Two of the singers are from FL this year in the Tampa area. So this could be interesting indeed.
    Love your card so pretty!

You are so dang funny – that's just how I felt after Steven Tyler stripped – rinsing out my eyeballs – is the perfect description of what I wanted to do!! – I think they made all the right choices except for Skylar – glad to hear you think she's too "twangy" too!! I do hope they bring back Jermaine…David is young and still has time…can't wait until tomorrow for Spring Fling to BEGIN!! – and to see Tracy!!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
