With All My Heart

This 'n' That

28 Jan

003 copy

It's the friendships, it really is. I have met the most fun, loving, lifelong friends through being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  Tonight was another night to prove it.  A few weeks ago I stopped off at MAMMa (My Arizona Mum Marlene) house on the way to Rhonda's and I saw this card on her table, and my jaw dropped and I said what is that card? and she said it was for an upcoming class. So I immediately said I wanted to take the class. So tonight was the class and I got Melissa to go too, and we went to the Deli first, and we were not too bad with our diet, we did share the main course and the dessert so that is totally better than how I would eat before…we didn't share the French Onion Soup, we had our own bowl.  I didn't eat much all day so I think I did ok.

At class we saw an old Demonstrator from forever ago, Michelle, and also Sandy who I have not seen for a while and her friend Lisa.  So it was a fun class, and we all stamped and laughed and had a good time. Heck after class was over I think Mel, MAMMa and I stood outside and gabbed and laughed for another hour, it's a wonder the neighbors didn't come out and tell us to settle down.

Want me to stop gabbing and show you this gorgeous card of all time? Ok, sit down…here it comes…

This is the front on view.

This is the side view.

004 copy
This is the closed view. It fits in a 5 x 5 envelope. I was supossed to put the ribbon on the outside of the Riding Red heart and I did it on the edge, so it is hard to see my silver heart, but still you get the idea.

Gorgeous eh?

Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Riding Hood Red, Silver Glimmer Paper, Twitterpated DSP, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Misc: Riding Hood Red Pleated Satin Ribbon, Sticky strip, Framelits Dies Hearts Collection, Pearls, White Taffeta ribbon, Word Window punch, Modern Label punch

As I was putting stuff away today I found these two candies that I was given at Leadership with the same name, but totally different.

006 copy
The top one is American "Smarties" sour candies, and the bottom is Canadian "Smarties" chocolate yummy-ness. Of course I am being good and am eating neither of them.  Eric can have them, he is younger and skinnier.

Tomorrow I have Stamp Club day, so this old girl has to hit the sheets so I can get up bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

I love your card! Also, I really like the sour Smarties but I think I would really like the chocolate version even better – too bad we don't have those around here.

    Hi Diana,

When I was visiting the US one time (in Florida) went through the McDonald's drive through and asked for a Smarties McFlurry. The person on the other end of the speaker asked me to repeat what I asked for. I completely forgot that US smarties are different than Canadian smarties! The guy must have though I was nuts to want a US smarties flurry!!!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
