So when I hear the name Stella, I think of a few things…obviously Stella Stamper, one of the cutest stamps sets that Stampin' Up! used to sell and I personally think she should still be available, but that's me! Also I think of the movie with Marlon Brando yelling "Stella!" even though I don't think I ever saw the movie, only just that Stella part from clips of it. But really I think of our girl Stella, she is the nicest of all of them, and the most tamest. She will always run up to the nesting box to be petted when I go out to check eggs, it is funny that the other girls are getting like that too, but she is the sweetest.
So today's calendar page is Stella.
I love the tilt of the head, like she is trying to say something, or perhaps trying to figure something out.
Today was a little warmer than usual. I also went out and took some pictures of Jeff's quail coop, I'll upload them tomorrow. He works on it when he gets home from work and on the weekends. I can't wait to go to Casa Grande to see a quail farm.
Tonight while I was working I watched NY Ink, James Durbin was on it, such a cutie! I also was glad to see a new Grey's Anatomy and it was a sad one that is for sure. I also spun the TV around and watched a bit of Doogie Howser, oh my gosh remember that show? I can't believe that basically Neil Patrick Harris has not changed much. I also watched parts of two shows that could not be more different, one with Jillian teaching a married couple how to eat right and exercise and lose weight (that is Jeff and I, we need to eat better) and then one with a tummy tuck and a breast implant…oh my gosh I was almost sick. They did the breast implant through the belly button, what the heck? That just seems crazy and so risky. OK enough TV talk.
I was checking around the Stampin' Up! website and I thought to check our event section (I was seeing how attendance is for Leadership) and it was updated to the last few trips, Founders and Cruise. I didn't spot myself in any of the Founder's pics, but look at this fun one from the cruise…
…my sweet friend Kim, we had such a great time in Alaska. I totally remember coming out of the meeting room with our new catalog that we just got and we were all like speechless. Then we ran back to our cabin to look at it, and then hide it so no one would see it, this was the end of May and the catalog wouldn't be "live" till July!
Thanks to all of you for ordering the Occasions Mini Product Shares, I really appreciate it.
This is a quick post, I have classes this weekend, and my studio is in shambles so I must get it cleaned up.
Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
Stella, you and all your sisters are so doggone cute.
Carey and Roscoe
Hi there! Kim and I will be @ regionals in SA after leadership. Are you staying for regionals? Would be great to say hello!
ha! I like the way she has her head cocked to one side. Charlie does that all the time and THAT is when I wish they could talk, cause you just know they are saying something!
Luv ya
Jax
