It's a zoo around here!
Today I had my first class of 2012. The fun set Button Buddies was what everyone got at class and we made 4 cute cards. The first one is a case from Kimberly Van Diepen (thanks Kimberly) and it tickles me pink.

Here's Septembers calendar page. Boy the girls sure know who feeds them, and they love to eat. Oh and too funny, Fiji learned from Stella to pop into the roosting box when I open it. So now when I go to see if she has started to lay yet (the answer is nope), she jumps in there to be petted. I think she just realizes that is an escape route if she is fast enough.
Speaking of pigs…again… Jeff and I really need to eat healthier and lose weight, his cholesterol is high and my gut and butt are sagging low….Can any of you suggest a good recipe book? I have been thinking of getting the Jillian Michaels Master Your Metabolism Cookbook, if you have that book, do you like it? Is it working?

Here's a good video clip that my husband and I love. We use a line out of it every time we talk about losing weight. It comes from the scene in the kitchen where the husband gives his wife a Thigh Master and says…."A little more of this (exercise) and a little less of that (eating)." Very funny!!!

I started Weight Watchers in June and have lost 40 pounds and counting. I use "Weight Watchers New Complete Cookbook". Great recipes and so easy. The program is so sensible and you can eat everything within reason, you just have to count points.
Di My hubby and I started going to the gym..I know GAH!! However..hubby just had his cholesterol check done and he has cut his number in half!! I don't know what the numbers mean but he went from a 6 to a 3 in 6 month and that with just exercising. So go for FAST walks…it seems to be working..I wonder if mine changed…have to go get it checked…men always have it easier 🙁
