Should I Be Honored

This 'n' That

27 Dec

002 copy

or Irritated?

I get so many comments that are miles long and they are selling stuff, shoes, drugs, some are in other languages so who knows what they are up to.

I have to approve of my comments so you are lucky you don't have to see them, but gee what the heck?

I'm gonna say a big Shout Out! to my little sister Jacqui, Jax for short! Happy Birthday Honey!  I hope it's a good one.  Love you and Miss You!!!

I saw a cute little box by Mercedes Weber and I wanted to turn it into a card.  I really love the Beau Chateau DSP and the new Apothecary Art set looks awesome with it.

001 copy
Stamp Set: Apothecary Art, Happiness Shared

Paper: Crumb Cake, Watercolor Paper, Beau Chateau DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake

Misc: Pearl, Crumb Cake Taffeta, Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch, Framelits Labels Collection

I've been watching American Pickers. Boy they sure find some cool stuff, I would like to see them sell stuff though, like do they get what they think it is worth later?  I also wonder what they do with the stuff that does not fit in their van? Obviously they have a film crew, maybe they drive a big semi or something? They gotta sleep somewhere, maybe it has sleeping quarters in it too?  Don't know why I feel the need to wonder…or care…but I do.

Well this old gal is headed to bed, I am so enjoying my book. Have you read or started to read Stephen King's "11/22/63"? It's a page turner…well I am reading it on my Nook, so I guess that would be a button pusher.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks so much for stopping in.

A signature white 5

What a gorgeous card! Love that sentiment and that paper is just beautiful!
A big happy birthday wish to Jax too!
I also would like to see them (the pickers)actually sell something for the big bucks they claim everything is worth. I like the show but it really makes me wonder if they are making money from selling or making money from the show itself. Hmmmmm…….

I know what you mean about all those comments. Funny thing is I didn't get any of them until someone suggested that I set my blog up so that I had to moderate the comments. They started immediately after that. But now that they have started, I am afraid that if I stop the moderation, they will still find me now.

Love your card. Really need to go downstairs and play with some of my new goodies!

I started 11-22-63 the day after Christmas, it is VERY hard to read the book in bed, this is what the Kindle and the Nook are made for. Liking it very much.

    Such a pretty card.

Geez, spam in your comment box? I'd be irritated.

    Have a great day.

Di, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! I am so bad, as I had planned to send you a Christmas card, but I did not do that…):

I got a book as a Christmas gift called THE BEST OF ME by Nicholas Sparks and I read it on Christmas day as I stayed in my jammies all day and read LOL…if you have not read it, I highly recommend it to you. It is so good as all his books are.

I feel the same way about the pickers show. I guess I just want more of them. It's a great show. Love pawn stars too- want to know if they sell all they buy and I want to know more about their outside lives- like who are their wives and do they like the success?

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
