Mimeograph Monday – Sneak Peek – Apothecary Art

This 'n' That

12 Dec

006 copy

So this card definitely screamed "make me!" when I saw it on the cover of the new mini catalog.  You are going to want to put this set on your have to have list.  It is not available until January 4 unless you are a Demonstrator cause we get to order stuff a month in advance. Love those perks!

Now after I started making it I was like holy moly this card has a lot going on.  It took me over an hour to make but that is cause I made it while watching Once Upon a Time, boy the mayor sure makes the name wicked step mother totally true…I detest her.

You will notice quite a few new things on the card…things that make my heart go pitter patter. Like the Adorning Accents Edgelit dies, and the matching Impressions folder!! Look at that Large Pearl…yum!

004 copy
Check out that Pleated Satin ribbon and Hat Pin…some more must haves. Maybe just ask Santa for some money in your stocking so you can order it first thing on the 4th!!!

Oh and what a pain it was to cut out the Apothecary stamped image…NOT!!! There are new Framelits that match the set! I know…somebody stop me!!!! Ha!

Here's the full card, hopefully I did the original card justice.

Here's the view from the side so you can see how cool the Adorning accents shape is.

To see how easy it is to watercolor, I have a 7 page PDF for sale. I had a few emails since I posted this card.  Thanks to everyone that has purchased it, and the kind emails you have sent me.

So guess who is coming to visit in April? My Mum, I can hardly wait! She has not been here in like forever, in fact she has never seen our home in Queen Creek, the last time she was here we lived in Mesa.  I can't wait for her and MAMMa to meet and they can't wait to meet each other.  Fun times!

Today is the last day for my 12 Days of Christmas Specials, so make sure you don't miss out.

I'm gonna sign off for tonight, I don't want to miss the replay of The Next Iron Chef, Top Chefs or whatever it is called.  I watched Once Upon a Time when it was on earlier.  Jeff watched the cooking show and he kept sticking his head in my studio telling me I was missing a good one…then he even pretended that he was gonna tell me who got kicked off…the brat!

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Di, I love your card using all the new goodies in the mini! It is the bomb 🙂

Once Upon a Time is getting better and better IMHO…it was so good last night. We just got back from Orlando just in time for me to see it. It was 80 degrees there and it was 48 when we returned to Georgia. Today it is not suppose to be out of the 40s all day long. What a change in climate for sure and we are only about 5 hours away from Orlando! Go figure.

    Happy Monday to you.

Mum is coming- that is soooo exciting. This card is great and it is going to be so fun to see everyone's reaction to the yummy things in the Occasions.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
