Mary Did You Know?

This 'n' That

3 Dec

12 Days of Christmas Specials

006 copy

I love this song and I don't know how people can sing it without crying, I can't sing along without getting choked up.

I wanted to show another of the cards from my 10/10/20 My Digital Studio Hybrid Christmas Card Class. I also had a bunch of emails asking what I meant by hybrid, here is an old post where I explained about it when I did this style of class before.

008 copy

This card was so cute, all I did was trimmed it down so I could layer it and I added rhinestones to the mittens.

005 copy

We watched Super 8 tonight, it was ok, I'm glad we borrowed it from Jeff's brother Tim and we didn't shell out any money for it. The best part Jeff and I liked about it was the music, it was from back in our hay day…ha!

Well this old gal is headed to bed.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

Di, this too is my favorite Christmas song. However, I have yet to hear anyone sing it as well as Clay Aiken….he makes chills run up my spine…see if you can find his version, you will not be sorry.

Thanks so much for the video! I love this song very much and have heard it sung by several people, but this is the first time I have heard it by Kathy Mattea. So beautifully done!

This is my favorite Christmas song. My minister sings it solo every Christmas Eve and there is not a dry eye in the congregation.

I have followed your Blog for quite some time and I love your creations. I also love your comments about movies, books, your family, etc… Sometimes those wonderful extras provide that much neded smile at the end of a rough day.

I too LOVE Mary did you know – you have to check out this version by Kalan Porter – he was a Canadian Idol winner a few years ago and he just has the most beautiful voice. He's a cutie too – but all the videos I could find of him singing it were crappy phone videos from mall concerts – but he did officially record it for a compilation CD and this is that version – great listening – not great viewing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGekv2r7x0c

I love that song. I used to sing in a praise team at church and we sang it. Do you know how hard it is to sing while you are tearing up? Thanks for posting this.

Carey and Roscoe (Carey was the one who sang it, not Roscoe- as excited as he is being around people they wouldn't let him in church)

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
