Sounds like a new band eh? Let's hear it for Indigo & a Little Bling!!! And the crowd jumps to their feet and the girls scream and some even faint!!! OK so maybe I am still thinking about the Elvis impersonator at Eric's work Christmas party. That was again tonight (hard to believe another year has gone by) and the meal was excellent, the entertainment was the same as the last few years. We met a fun young couple at our table, who end up living not too far from us and actually know our friends Lee who carpools with Jeff and his wife Terry…proves it's a small world after all…sing a few bars will ya Elvis?
We love going, and looking around at all the other adults with learning disabilities, we do thank God that Eric is as high functioning as he is. I love watching the couples…not creepy stalking watching, but just seeing how they help each other and they dance together, it is so sweet. We have been blessed to have found the company that Eric's works for, they are an important part of Eric's success as an adult and they love him like we do.
So I have to tell ya everyone loved the cards at class today. That makes me feel good, cause ya never know. Sometimes I will question a card, and think gee should I re-do that, and I usually leave it, and everyone likes it. We are our own worst critics.
This one was fun, some snowflakes, a greeting, some faux stitching and then when I got it I added some rhinestones and Island Indigo ruffled ribbon…that was it. I must say the class was over lickity split.
It was fun seeing everyone, especially Sharon and her daughter Katie who graduates this week. I can't get over her all grown up. Time flies.
I finished Under the Dome last night, it was so good. Now I am starting Stephen King's new book 11/23/63 and I have heard it is really good too. I need to get all my SK books read that I have waiting for me instead of getting any new ones.
Well that is all for me, we just got home from the party and I have to get up early for class.
Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.
love the softness of your card… such pretty blues….
And let us know how the book goes. I just bought it but haven't started it yet…..
Thanx for sharing your creativity
I like the greeting on this one – really like the font.
Luv ya
Jax
