March Madness

Well it is not really madness, but that title is cute.  Today I ran back to the phone store, and exchanged my cover and also got regular clear scratch guard things, the sales girl was so nice, she showed me all the different choices for covers, I wonder why my sales guy didn't do that...probably cause he was a guy. Women understand having choices, I mean I can go into a shoe store and try on 15 different pairs, I might buy the first pair I tried on, but it is having a choice...right?  Jeff would not agree, he buys the first anything he tries on...well if it fits.

I am still putzing around with the phone, I have not names it My Precious II or anything like that, I feel I gotta get to know her better yet...ha! I am liking it more, BUT I can't figure out how to get my calendar on it. It is a google calendar so I think it should be there.  All my birthdays and stuff are on it...might have to call and ask.

Oh and look at this cool car I saw in the parking lot. I posted it on Facebook and Melanie (hey girlfriend) wondered about the backward "S" on superman's cape...I didn't know what to say, cause I didn't notice it.  Jeff wonders if it was a window decal and then it would have been right showing through a window?  Oh well it was cool anyway.

Today's page is March, this shows the girls when we first got them, look how young they were, and hardly, if any, butt feathers at all.

Today Jeff and I cleaned up the coops, added new sand and bedding. I even put Fiji in with the big lasted about 10 minutes. I'll share that video and pics tomorrow. Jeff is building a quail pen, he wants to raise quail, so that will be interesting.  I don't believe I will be naming them, cause...well...they will be dinner. It just wouldn't feel right sitting down to eat Betty Lou ya know? So they'll just be quail.

We watched Diners, Dives, and Drive Ins, or whatever it is called, and they had Ruth's Diner on there, it was fun to see. We have gone twice now when we go to Convention, I am a big fan of biscuits and gravy, but they added hot sauce so I don't think I could eat it, I'm a whoose when it comes to spicy stuff, even mild spicy.

I am almost done my "11/22/63" book so I wanna get to bed early.

Have an awesome Saturday, the last day of 2011, can you believe it? Yowza!

Thanks for stopping in and reading my blog all year, I really appreciate it.

February Stars "Fiji"

Today was errand running, and I also needed to upgrade my phone.  I love My Precious and it is gonna be hard for this old dog to learn new tricks, but I needed a phone that could be a hotspot.  I hate having to pay for internet when I travel, and this will make me not have to...well I will pay my phone company, but way cheaper, and only when I need it.

I got the Samsung Galaxy and so far it is ok.  I was going to get the Droid Razor cause I figured it would be closer to My Precious but the sales guy said he had one and returned it in a week and he got the Samsung one and loves it.  So I was like well ok.  All my phone numbers did not transfer over, like all my favorites didn't.  I wish they had of told me at the store to take them out of my favorites before we did the transferring.  I come home to text the BFF and she wasn't there, and I was like "what the heck?".So I need to sit down with My Precious and make sure everything is transferred over.  Mike, that does HAB with Eric wants to buy My Precious, so I told him to give me a bit so I know I am really done with it.

I also don't see my calendar dealie with all my birthays and stuff and that is a google calendar so I think it should have come over too. Maybe it's on a different gmail address?

The sales guy also just grabbed stuff I needed, and he gave me anti-glare / scratch thingies for my phone.  Ugh, I hate these, I can't see worth a hoot.  I prefer just the clear anti-scratch ones, so back to the store tomorrow.  He also picked out a silicone cover...ugh, everything sticks to it, so that needs to be exchanged too. Fun eh? Ha!

I did however enjoy spending my Kohls bucks...I got two pair of jeans, for $4.64, not bad eh?

Here is today's calendar pages:

February stars Fiji!  Boy she is sure growing, still no eggs yet. I figure she'll be like the other girls and wait till I got out of town to lay.

I have had a bunch of emails asking if you can order one of the calendar of the girls.  You certainly can.  Mine is on the way, so I wanted to make sure I didn't need to make any changes before I take any orders. If you are interested let me know.  The calendars are $24.95 plus tax and shipping.  I would only be able to ship them within the US though.

Well this old gal has some cleaning up to do. Not much got done today.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

It's a Girl Thing

Today we look at the month of January.

Chicken Calendar 8 x 11-002
Chicken Calendar 8 x 11-003

Isn't it cute? Well I know that is not nice that I say that since I made it, but I think it is.  The months have a picture of eggs and I changed the opacity to be light so that I will be able to see my daily record.  I didn't have many pictures of the eggs, so those repeat throughout the year.

Guess what? Tomorrow will be February...ha!

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.

A Calendar for the Girls

OMG! It is taking me forever to make this calendar, (I am making a calendar for the fridge to keep track of their eggs) I think mostly cause it's not like they pose all pretty for me, so I am trying to find good pictures to use, and I have been trying to find them all over my computer to put into one file.  I know I have missed some but I want to get it done, plus it is not like it is the only thing I am working on.

I still have a few more pages to go, then it is the fun part adding emellishments and stuff.

I'll show you the cover...then I might slowly show you one a day...just to milk it...oh wait that would be a cow calendar, I guess I'm yolking it...ha!

Oh and don't miss it, more items have been added to the clearance rack. Gotta love that!

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.

Should I Be Honored

002 copy

or Irritated?

I get so many comments that are miles long and they are selling stuff, shoes, drugs, some are in other languages so who knows what they are up to.

I have to approve of my comments so you are lucky you don't have to see them, but gee what the heck?

I'm gonna say a big Shout Out! to my little sister Jacqui, Jax for short! Happy Birthday Honey!  I hope it's a good one.  Love you and Miss You!!!

I saw a cute little box by Mercedes Weber and I wanted to turn it into a card.  I really love the Beau Chateau DSP and the new Apothecary Art set looks awesome with it.

I've been watching American Pickers. Boy they sure find some cool stuff, I would like to see them sell stuff though, like do they get what they think it is worth later?  I also wonder what they do with the stuff that does not fit in their van? Obviously they have a film crew, maybe they drive a big semi or something? They gotta sleep somewhere, maybe it has sleeping quarters in it too?  Don't know why I feel the need to wonder...or care...but I do.

Well this old gal is headed to bed, I am so enjoying my book. Have you read or started to read Stephen King's "11/22/63"? It's a page turner...well I am reading it on my Nook, so I guess that would be a button pusher.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks so much for stopping in.
