Gel Snow?

This 'n' That

10 Dec

006 copy

Jeff said to thank everyone for the Birthday Wishes, we did a little shopping after his doc appointment, he needed a new wedding band, his was getting pretty tight on him, so we got him a white gold one to match my ring. Our original wedding bands were yellow gold. Plus we got Eric's gift…shhhh….that he has been hounding us for. It was expensive and we personally think he does not need it, but he is a good kid and we told him if he got that, that was all that would be under the tree, because we have the Stampin' Up! Disneyworld trip coming up and this is the first time we have taken him, and it's gonna be an expensive trip cause the trip is paid for just Jeff and I, but we pay Eric's expenses. Totally worth it, but still, we are saving up.  He said ok, so hopefully he'll still think that is ok come Christmas morning.

I wanted to show one of my favorite 10/10/20 MDS Hybrid Christmas cards, I like them all but this one was so simple and fun. This is the Savor the Season Template.

All I did was added a taffeta bow, and the snow in the letters? It is white gel pen.  I think it looks adorable! What do you think?

Doesn't it make you feel cold? Brrrr…..

My 12 Days of Christmas specials are winding down, so don't miss out.

I am headed to bed early I have class in the morning, I'll get to see how everyone likes the cards.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Cute card with a great color combo! Love the Crumb Cake paper rather than white or vanilla. The "snow gel" you added looks fabulous!

Finally got a chance to catch up on your posts. The last post I had seen was your little owl video! Traveling in Alabama, again. Love your gift from your MOMMA and the hybrid cards you've been making with MDS. The way you add to them makes them so much more special. TYFS

I love this card! What punches/stamps did you use to make the wreath and background?

OK…What is the secret to these pens? Everyone raves over them. I have bought 3 of them, 2 from SU and one from Jet Pens. They just don't write for me. I don't get it.

Wow – the white gel pen really makes those letters pop! I'm not really into the MDS — I'm on the computer for work all the time, but I can see that it would be great for making a lot of cards or for scrapbooking. I still want would rather play with ink, paper and ribbon! =)

I love this card! Work has been really busy, so I haven't had a chance to check your daily blogs as often as in the summertime… but whenever I get a chance I just LOVE it! Your gift for your son sounds very special. I can't wait to read the posts when you go and to hear his perspective about a SU trip. Have a blessed and beautiful day.

Great card. I hope Eric will be happy with his Christmas present but I know he will be soooo happy with Disney. It is so fantastic. I am very behind in reading your blog. I apologize but life is getting in the way. I hope Christmas is under control for you.
