February Stars “Fiji”

3-D Items

30 Dec

Today was errand running, and I also needed to upgrade my phone.  I love My Precious and it is gonna be hard for this old dog to learn new tricks, but I needed a phone that could be a hotspot.  I hate having to pay for internet when I travel, and this will make me not have to…well I will pay my phone company, but way cheaper, and only when I need it.

I got the Samsung Galaxy and so far it is ok.  I was going to get the Droid Razor cause I figured it would be closer to My Precious but the sales guy said he had one and returned it in a week and he got the Samsung one and loves it.  So I was like well ok.  All my phone numbers did not transfer over, like all my favorites didn't.  I wish they had of told me at the store to take them out of my favorites before we did the transferring.  I come home to text the BFF and she wasn't there, and I was like "what the heck?".So I need to sit down with My Precious and make sure everything is transferred over.  Mike, that does HAB with Eric wants to buy My Precious, so I told him to give me a bit so I know I am really done with it.

I also don't see my calendar dealie with all my birthays and stuff and that is a google calendar so I think it should have come over too. Maybe it's on a different gmail address?

The sales guy also just grabbed stuff I needed, and he gave me anti-glare / scratch thingies for my phone.  Ugh, I hate these, I can't see worth a hoot.  I prefer just the clear anti-scratch ones, so back to the store tomorrow.  He also picked out a silicone cover…ugh, everything sticks to it, so that needs to be exchanged too. Fun eh? Ha!

I did however enjoy spending my Kohls bucks…I got two pair of jeans, for $4.64, not bad eh?

Here is today's calendar pages:

February stars Fiji!  Boy she is sure growing, still no eggs yet. I figure she'll be like the other girls and wait till I got out of town to lay.

I have had a bunch of emails asking if you can order one of the calendar of the girls.  You certainly can.  Mine is on the way, so I wanted to make sure I didn't need to make any changes before I take any orders. If you are interested let me know.  The calendars are $24.95 plus tax and shipping.  I would only be able to ship them within the US though.

Well this old gal has some cleaning up to do. Not much got done today.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

Ah…it's so cute to see her as a baby and see how much she has grown up.
Have you hit 1000 eggs yet? The last up date was the 23rd of November.
    Luv ya

My husband refurned his razor after a week as well! I am assuming you have Verizon? You should look into the backup assistant. It backs up all of your contacts so that they will automatically transfer to a new phone. Of course this info would have been much more helpful BEFORE you got your new phone! When you go to return the other stuff you should ask if they can transfer your contacts for you. I know they used to be able to, but maybe not anymore since they have the backup assistant. Good luck!

    P.S. Loving the calendar!

Happy New Year my friend. It has been so hit and miss with me getting on the internet these past few weeks that I wanted to be sure I got that in. Roscoe says hi to Toby and the girls. He would love to play with the girls although I am not sure I would trust him around them. I hope you and the family have a great New Year's Eve tomorrow night.

Cute calendar of all the "girls". Look at how Fiji has grown!! Remember when you first got her I thought she might be a roadrunner chick? ha ha – She didn't look like a chicken at all to me back then. Sure is a beauty now. How old are they when they start laying eggs? p.s. What do you do with all those eggs??

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
