Well I think that winter has finally arrived in the Valley of the Sun, it rained a lot of the day here and was miserable cold. I finally turned the heater on the other morning to get that chill out of the air.
Today we met Eric's new speech therapist, she seems really nice. He used to get speech therapy years ago and it got too hard to find anyone that was out in our area so we gave up on it. But when Eric had his last IEP thing they suggested he should start back with speech therapy as it would help him at work. We can usually figure out what he is saying but for new people it is hard. So we are excited to see how it goes.
I worked on a bunch of cards today and I also have to get my swap done and my Secret Santa stuff for Monday, so will do that tomorrow. Most of the time I had Adele 21 on, and my gosh every single song is amazing on that album. I love it, even tonight while Jeff and I were cooking supper (we did coconut shrimp again and it is easier with two people) we had it on the stereo, it's hard to cook when you're dancing and head bopping…ha!
I think this was Marjori's card from the shoebox swap we did at Rhonda's last meeting.
You can't see how it shimmers and it is hard to tell it is embossed too.
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Black craft
Misc: Embossing powder, Red Grosgrain, Snow Burst embossing folder, dotted scallop ribbon border punch, champagne shimmer mist
I want to thank all of you that have been emailing me your orders for my 12 Days of Christmas specials, I really appreciate it, and I hope you look forward to the rest of the days.
Well this old girl is headed to bed, I have about 200 pages to go to finish Under the Dome…
Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.
Beautiful card. Love it.
Good luck with Eric's speech therapy!
Dee, this is beautiful!
Someone needs to invent a camera that picks up all the wonderful nuances of our stamping.
