A big thank you (said sarcastically) to my little sister Jacqui, Jax for short (I love you and miss you!), she had to comment about some TV show and that made me go check it out, she said it was creepy spooky and I thought ewww I won't like that, so what did I do? I went and watched the first episode online and I was hooked.
Have you watched American Horror Story? It is just intriquing and weird, and since it is on TV it does not scare me as bad as like a movie in the theater would so that is why I think I am ok with it. It is cool seeing actors from other shows I watch, True Blood, Modern Family, just to name a few. I am all caught up I think except for episode two which was on not on the FX online place. It stars Jessica Lange and she is such an awesome actress.
I wanted to show you one of the cards from my Stitched Stockings class from a few weeks ago, I loved the whole idea of using the stockings other ways, we did a tradional Christmas stocking card, the little hobby horse card and then the baby booties.
I love the Simply Sent card kits, these used the Everyday Elegance ones #122377. The bottom is already punched and scalloped, you just have to use a paper piercer to push out the little pieces, makes for some fun confetti on your table. We used the Baja Breeze cards, although the packs come with Cherry Cobbler too, I'll use those for something else.
Stamp Set: Stitched Stockings, Pursuit of Happiness
Paper: Whisper White, Everyday Elegance Simply Sent kit
Ink: Baja Breeze
Misc: White Tafetta ribbon, White Bakers Twine, Perfect Pennants die, Circles #2 die
The little decorative punched piece the greeting is on, comes in the Simply Sent kit. Cool eh?
Well I'm gonna sign off, that danged show is coming on TV and I think it will be last weeks episode so I will be caught up for tomorrow…thanks Jax!! ha!
