Years ago I picked up this book at a book store I think and it was all these questions to ask your Grandmother. It had first date, about schooling, movies, and all sorts of things. So I gave it to Granny, and she filled it out and then she gave it back…that is what you are supposed to do with it. I didn't know till I read it that Granny's nick name growing up was Birdie. Her real name is Beryl so I can see how Birdie would make sense, but never in my life had I ever heard anyone call her that. Fun eh?
Today was fun, I had my first round of Stitched Stockings Class, and tomorrow is another round in the morning and then I have a workshop right after that. So I have been finishing up that tonight (while I have Eclipse on…OMG! less than a week till Breaking Dawn!!!). But earlier after Jeff got home from work and we had lunch he went and picked up the Harry Potter part 2 movie, and I watched it, it was pretty good, and as far as I can tell it stuck with the book (it's been years since I read it, but I think it did) I don't remember Dumbledore's brother being in it, but who knows.
I will be quick tonight and show you one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets this year. This is a beautiful swap card made by Jane Allison. Love it Jane!!
Paper: Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Holly Berry Bouquet DSP

Misc: Decorative Label punch, Early Espresso Quilted Ribbon, Petals a Plenty Embossing folder
Well this old gal is gonna head to bed to get up early for class. I have to set my room up. I usually do it before I go to bed, but my book is calling me! Ha! Plus Toby keeps looking at me like "Mum, it is way past my bedtime!!"
Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.
Sweet story about your Granny and a beautiful card. Did you know there's a famous aviatrix named Beryl (Markham)? I recommend her book, West with the Night.
Diana, did you see the Target ad this morning? They have t-shirts that say 'vampire fiancee'; it so reminded me of you!
Love your Granny story and the card……
First, it has been a month since you have updated how many eggs the girls have laid. No pressure, I'm just saying. Second, boy are you a busy gal. Third, I love the card. Fourth, I love the story about Granny. Thanks for the fun today. Have a great time at your events.

Beryl . . . Birdie. I can see that. Gorgeous card. I have to get some more of that DSP while I can so I can hoard it! I have relatives that spend the winters in Apache Junction. Will have to tell them to try that restaurant. Big beaver hugs to you.
