So when Rhonda and I went to see The Help the other day, when I saw the role of Constantine was played by Cicely Tyson, I almost cried it was like seeing an old friend, I mean I don't know her and never met her or anything but I remember her from a movie that I watched when I was 9 years old called "The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman", I think I had to read the book in school and I just remember it being such a moving book and movie, so it was awesome seeing her again.
Then when I saw the role of Missus Walters was played by Sissy Spacek that made me think of Poppa and almost cry again, like the movie was not emotional enough. I remember when I was 15 Granny was in the hospital from one of her many surgeries and after we went to visit her Poppa took us to go see "Coal Miner's Daughter" so that brought back memories too.
Maybe I'm getting to be a sap in my old age.
But hey not too old, I did recognize a few actors from TrueBlood and of course Eclipse, that keeps me young right?
The other day I mentioned the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps, here's a quick video about them.
While I was over at YouTube I saw this and watch how cute this is and if you don't shed a tear, well you will.
I love how she was neatly stacking up her gifts, and she was excited about getting snacks and stuff, and when she was asking how her Mum knew what she wanted, adorable.
I got this awesome card, and now I can't find it, it is in one of my card boxes, and I am sure it is from Jan McClurg, she is coming to class and sent this cute card with her check. Thanks Jan, I love the little strip of DSP on the edge, what a neat trick.
Today I met Lynsay Mahon, and her sweet family for lunch, I met Lynsay years ago when we both Demonstrated at a Manager's Reception at Leadership. We both had the same SAM too. We have been friends ever since, they stopped back over at the house cause her girls wanted to see my girls. They even collected an egg. Me, the dork that I am, carried my camera around in my purse and never took one picture. Lyns did, so she said she would send me them. Thanks for lunch Lyns, see you in San Antonio!
Well I am gonna hit the hay, I gotta get up early tomorrow and register for Leadership!
Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.
I got my comments mixed up. I meant to write about The Help on this but I did it on the earlier one. OK, you caught me. I read two days worth of blog on Tuesday morning at work. Bad girl.
Carey and Roscoe

Oh I can't read your post yet. I am just reading the Help and loving it! Trying to read it slowly and savor it. I hope I can find it at the movies somewhere!
Oh.My.Goodness. The Lily video is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing it. Love your blog…check it EVERY day.
OMGosh, Di! My eyes totally welled up watching that darling little girl get excited. I'm guessing I'll be a total blubbering idiot when I go see "The Help". I've been looking forward to it since I first saw a preview of it.
TFS!
I loved that video with the little girl..It was a tear jerker. Such a happy ending tho..Thank you for sharing.
You're right. I cried. Enough said.
Cicely Tyson — she is fantastic in everything she's in. When she takes a drink from that water fountain in The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman – I cry and cheer EVERY time! I was very pleased that The Help movie really honored the book. All the actors were just great. The Secret Life of Bees movie was very close to the book, too, and both were excellent. Sappy women who cry at movies UNITE!! =)
