Mimeograph Monday – Cover Girl

Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

24 Oct

003 copy

Today was fun, I met my friend Melissa (Hi Mel!) and we spent our Gelato Groupon, we ran errands in Joannes, and I also ran into a friend of mine that I have not seen in a while, Hi Sheri! Then I had to go to Price Club, I have been needing to go for a while and boy it doesn't take long to spend over a hundred bucks eh?

Then back home for supper, and then to watch "Once Upon a Time" Did you watch it?  That was good eh?  It is neat how they have the characters intermingled, and love how we guess who they are now. I can't wait till next week, but before then we have "Revenge" on Wednesday and then "Grimm" debutes on Friday, that looks good too.

Since I missed my Mimeograph Monday card last week I was determined not to this week.  So I didn't have to look very far for a card to copy…this comes right off the cover of this year's Idea Book & Catalog.

I love all the layers, and the textures.

Di, I did watch Once Upon a Time and I was intrigued w/it. I think it is going to be a good one. The girl that plays Emma is from House, did you recognize her? I cannot wait to see Grimm as well. I have been following Revenge since it started and it is really a good show.

We are having some trees cut down in our backyard, so it is really noisy here. I plan to go to the grocery store as soon as my hubby gets back from taking his allergy shots. I need to get away.

I am not going to leadership this year as it would cost me over $1200 to go, so I hope you post all the good stuff while you are there!

I recorded Once Upon a Time, but haven't watched it yet. I'll record Grimm, too. I'm really enjoying Revenge. If Amanda "gets" everyone, how can there be a second season?? How good looking is the actor who plays Jack?

Loved the picture of you and Ryan Gosling — you shouldn't admit to Photoshop! I want to see The Ides of March – it doesn't matter what the movie is about. It's Ryan and George Clooney! Yeah! =)

Thanks Di for yet another giggle. My first view of the card was a sideways one as I turned my head to see what trouble Wicketcat was getting into. Kinda like a two year old you know…the ears are always listening for trouble. Anyway…I had your title in mind "cover girl" and what I saw was a chicken turning its head sideways. And I thought…wow that Di has gone over to the punch art creation crew and copied one of her chickens (you do call them girls right…so therefore the cover girl title fits!). Now with a fully frontal view I see its really components and images in a fun shabby chic design. Hm…love what you've created but to me it will always be the folk style chintz chicken card. Now that I've seen the bird its like those illusions that are impossible to see any other way. Now off to check out the Once Upon a Time show online. Have you noticed that many of the cool fall shows have ladies from previous shows with a medical component? The gal on Revenge is from Everwood and she played the doctors daughter! The gal in Once Upon a Time is from House…and I know there is another one out there too but I can't remember who and what at the moment.

    Hugs and blessings my friend.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
