Jones’n for the Bones’n

3-D Items

14 Oct

014 copy

So when I am not reading The Hunger Games, OMG it is so good, and I just want to keep reading, but then nothing would get done, and even though it is so good, when I read too much it makes me fall asleep…which at night is a good thing…but not during the day.

So today I did up a few more ornament/tags and a few other things.

I made some mini Halloween ones.

006 copy
Using the Dark & Dreary crow…so sinister.

007 copy
Again I took a bunch of views of them.

008 copy
I love it when my point & shoot camera works.

009 copy
Here's another mini one with Mr. Bones from Piece of Poison

010 copy
Although I still can't get over the Terminator look….I'll be back!

011 copy
The yoyo/lolly's are addicting, just like Dee said, just like a potato chip, you can't make just one. What I did do was I scored a wide strip of the First Edition DSP and then I cut it to the smaller widths that I wanted, it made it much quicker, and a great idea when you are wanting to do a bunch.  Keep in mind to get the size of your Lolly, it will be double the size of the DSP once you put it together.

016 copy
Here you can see the difference in sizes.

017 copy
They are a little harder to add too much embellishments cause of their sizes, but they look adorable on my Halloween tree.

031 copy

035 copy
Kinda hard to see, but it is adorable.

012 copy
Christmas is around the corner so I thought I would use the Snowflake die with the silver glimmer paper, and the Pines & Poinsettia's set.

013 copy
I might go back and add some glitter to the stamped image, I am not sure yet.  I did get my Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps today and I think I will be making some for the neighbors and then putting them in one of our new Kraft Gift Boxes all decorated and then put one of these ornament/tags on top. Won't that be neat?

007 copy
The other day I had the girls running around, and I took a couple pictures.  Here is Fiji, look how big she is getting. Remember when we first got her?

031 copy
You can kind of see that she is almost as big as Gertie.  Although she needs to fill out more. But her feathers are so soft.  Right now the big girls have not been laying that much with the weather change and I think they are going to start moulting.  Fiji definitely is, there are feathers all over the place, but looking at her you wouldn't know it.

So I almost commented at the beginning of the week that I didn't like some of the shows repeating, for the last few weeks, it seems like the Wednesday shows were being shown on Friday I think it was, and I am like I wanna see something new on Friday not a repeat, well I'll be darned if last night I forgot about Revenge until it was half over and then I thought oh I'll catch the re-run on Friday…nope, I guess they aren't doing that anymore…ha! Luckily for me I could see it on-line.  I am really enjoying that show with all the twists and turns, are you watching it? Another one that looks good is Once Upon A Time.

Oh and totally off topic, my little sister Courtney & her new hubby Jason's wedding pictures are up on the photographer's blog.  I am loving this one of Courtney and her Entourage…my Mum looks so sexy I think.

Blog5 (1)
And the poker shots…these were fun…we had no idea all this was going on.

Blog13
You'll have to go check out the other ones.

Well I better hit the hay.

Have a great Friday, and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Great stuff! Love the tip about scoring the paper wider and then trim down! That's awesome! I like your Christmas one too. Wouldn't that look all sparkley and pretty on your tree with the lights catching it! Fiji is turning out real pretty too!

Di, such cool halloween projects and I especially love the tree all decorated!

I love the show Revenge as well. You and I are alot alike in the things we enjoy to watch, huh? I have not seen Once Upon a Time show…will have to try and catch it. Another show on ABC Family network that I like is call The Lying Games, have you seen it? I think it is close to coming to the season finale, but you could probably watch them online as well…lots of twists and turns in this one as well. You need to watch it from the beginning though or you might not like it.

I am going on a scrapping retreat this weekend…hope to get caught up a bit.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!

    Hugs,

    Pinky

PS I love the pics of your outdoor friends…they are adorable!

You are such an enabler! Now, I have the yoyo bug and have to keep making them. Your ornament with the Pines and Poinsettias is going to be CASE'd and maybe even done as a make and take at my next workshop. Love how you fussy cut the banner! No interest in Revenge. Person of Interest is good. Tried the new Sarah Michelle whosit but couldn't even finish watching the pilot. Waiting patiently for Bones to start after the World Series. Go Tigers!

The Hunger Games is a FANTASTIC trilogy. I started them and couldn't put them down. I had to hijack the last one from my husband because he was taking too long to read it!!!! Can't wait for the movie to come out next year…hope it does the book justice!
