So I told you that I had to go do blood work for my upcoming physical. I got there and the room was packed, there were a few empty seats but you know me, I didn't want to sit near anyone in case they were sick so I stood for about 45 minutes.  I saw a not so pleasant looking man go into the bathroom, he looked… what word am I thinking of? Skanky? Blechy? I know that is mean, but he did. Anyway I was like saying to myself "even if I have to pee my pants I am not using the bathroom".  Then I forgot about him and stood there and watched Regis & Kelly on the tv hanging on the wall.   Hugh Jackman was on there and I never noticed before the right side of his face has like a major crease, will have to google that…he's still yummy though.

So anyway I am still standing there, and they call my name and they want a danged old pee sample, I am like oh crap I hope someone else used that bathroom since that man.  So I knock on the door and someone said busy, sounded like a woman, and I stood there and stood there and finally that guy came out and I am like ewww….now I have to use the bathroom. The seat was up on the toilet and everything…there was water…I hope it was water…on the floor.  So I did my business without touching ANYTHING, and then I washed and scrubbed and even used hand sanitizer when I came out.

Then I stood for about another 15 minutes.  A lady nurse finally called my name (only two guy nurses had been calling names before that), so she sent me to this chair in the back that I never even knew existed and I told her she would have to use a little needle.  My veins are so small that half the time I bruise so bad, heck one time I left with a hematoma as the needle went right through the vein.  So anyway, she starts to put on her gloves and her hands are shaking so bad I am thinking "is she really going to take my blood shaking like that?" she could not even get the glove on, she said it was too small.  So the guy that did my blood the last time walked by and I said "he did it last time and I didn't even feel it" and she said "do you want him to do it?" and I said "yes" In my head I was screaming…"YES OH YES PLEASE I WANT HIM!!!!"  So then I had to go back out to the waiting room cause he had two people before me to do.  So I was probably there over an hour.  Nuts eh?

Then I ran over to the antique mart to look around and I found some cute shirts on clearance and I found this cute dress/shirt thingie that will be my Breaking Dawn oufit.

Then I met my sweet friend Melissa for lunch and we did a little bit of shopping.

Do you ever watch Food Network and the cook Giada?  Well I am getting more used to her the more I watch her, but when she uses eggs she would get them out of this white ceramic looking holder, and I wanted one, so I googled and looked around and found some awesome ones from Anthropolgy and they came in White or Sky and that is what I wanted and they are so beautiful and they came today.

003 copy
I was thinking they would stack but they don't, look how cute the eggs look, too funny they are all different sizes so they sit funny in the holder. Look how cute they look in the fridge.

004 copy
Makes me smile to see them in there.

Here are the rest of the calendar months from my classes this past weekend. Oh and I had a couple people ask if I took the class attendees calendars apart, and the answer is no.  I took mine apart so the calendar pages could be passed around and copied.  Also a little tip, make sure to check your calendar before stamping it, we had one missing a month and one with an extra month.  Better safe than sorry. It was easy enough to fix, but I had and extra calendar or two to pull from.

Here we go…

016 copy
July uses Courage and Extreme Elements

017 copy
I won't tell you that I looked through the catalog four times just now trying to find the stars…ha! Oh wait I just told you.

018 copy
August uses Patterned Party

019 copy
We stamped on the calendar with Wild Wasabi and then stamped Poppy Parade and Pool Party on scrap Whisper White and cut out separate pieces to give it some color here and there.

020 copy
September is French Foliage, I love this set so much and I am so glad it is back in the catalog.

021 copy
I love this color combination, Pool Party, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Old Olive with a pop of Black

022 copy
October is Dark & Dreary and Wicked Cool

023 copy
I love those boots!

024 copy
November is Days of Gratitude

025 copy
I don't think I had used this set before this, and I love the leaves in it.

026 copy
December uses Merry & Type & Lovely as a Tree

027 copy
Here is the trick I told you about, the branches of the Christmas tree the ornaments are hanging on is actually the pine tree image from Lovely as a Tree turned on it's side.  Cool eh? Everyone thought that was pretty cool.

Well I am gonna sign off and get my September on-line thank you cards finished and in the mail.

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

If I were to go to all the trouble to make one of these darling calendars for my brother (who never remembers anyone's birthday without being smacked up side the head), he'd never look at it. Sigh.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
