Shabby Chic Wedding Card

This 'n' That

10 Sep

004 copy

Today was a fun day, Jacqui and I headed out about 9am to go to Courtney and Jason's (Jay for short) and they live about 3 hours away in a small town outside of Toronto near Markham.  They have the cutest house, I had never been there before.

We dropped our stuff off at the hotel and then Courtney took us to lunch.

I gave us all "Sisters" bracelets.

Mum had also given me a package with three boxes with our names on them and I was to hand them out at lunch, and they were gorgeous bracelets.

005 copy
Jax and hers, it has bling and black bling, so her.

006 copy
Courtney's was all blingy with links..fun and young like her.

007 copy
Here's me and mine blingy with a couple hearts, I love it. Mum knows her girls that is for sure.

008 copy
We had a quick lunch cause we had stuff to drop off at the winery where the wedding is being held and Courtney had to go pick up a girlfriend at the train depot.

We headed over and finished decorating the winery, it looks beautiful!

012 copy
With all the white table cloths and the chairs covered in white…so chic!

015 copy
Here's Court making some last minute touches to the tables. The florists will come in and add flowers to the lanterns.

017 copy
Wine glasses for the new Bride & Groom

022 copy
The tables are so pretty, everyone gets a carmel apple covered in chocolate.  I'll have to eat mine very carefully…alone in the hotel…chewing on the right side of my mouth, where the broken crown is not…speaking of which, it is hurting my tongue and scratching it a bit, I need to stop talking so much…ha right eh?

041 copy
We headed over to the rehearsal.  Courtney is an amazing singer so she had made a CD of herself singing Songbird and this is what her and Dad walk down the aisle with…oh my God tears were being shed at the rehearsal what will it be like when it is tomorrow and it is the real thing.  All us sisters, J's sister, Jacqui and I have to get up and say something, mine is a bible verse, hopefully I don't mess up.

045 copy
Here's Mum and Dad caught off guard.  I love them so much, they sure are proud and excited for tomorrow!

I gave Courtney her wedding card so I can show it on here, it was inspired by Lynda Fraser – thanks Lynda.

002 copy
Love the shabby chic look. You can see how I got the Bisque Pottery look here.

003 copy
So pretty, I think. Courtney really liked it, and I never did find what I wanted to find for her gift, so I will get it at home and ship it to her.

Well I better hit the hay, gotta get up early tomorrow and meet Mum and Dad for breakfast.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
