Founder’s Circle 2011 Day One

This 'n' That

15 Sep

I got up bright and early so that Jeff could take me to the airport on the way to work.  As I sat there waiting to board my plane I could not help to think…didn't I just do this airport thing?

Once I got to Salt Lake City, I walked over to the other gate where I would get my connecting flight to St. George.  Some of my friends were already there waiting.  I was so glad that this year it was a jet and not the prop-plane, that was a rocky flight last year, but this year it was great.

Look at the cute door hanger, oh my gosh isn't it going to look adorable in my studio?  As soon as I saw the theme "Tea Party" I thought shabby chic, teacups, doilies things like that…so cute.

Here's the gathering place, with some fun couches and pillows.  I'll take more pictures tomorrow, it is a small room right now, but tomorrow it will be all opened up.

Everyday we can Plinko and win a prize.  Today I won polka dotted ribbon.

Here's my sweet friend Meg, she won an embossing folder.

Dessert anyone? Even though we had just made a panini sandwich we thought our sweet tooth needed something special.

I choose a Boston Creme…

…and it was sooooo good!

Here's my room, and I think it is pretty close to being the same room as last year, I need to see if I have it written down somewhere.  But I love having my own room and all the space to spread out.

Last year we all had scarves of different colors and we had to find the colors that matched and that was our table mates. This year we had a name on our name tags, so it actually meant asking people instead of just seeing their scarf.  My group is "The Brits"  ….seems I should be talking differently "cherrio, blimey dahling"!  So once we found our group we all had to go together to get our gift. It was a package of the Beau Notes. I love those!

At dinner our place settings were gorgeous tea cups with roses in them.  All the teacups on the table were different. They could not have picked a better one for me.

Here's our table. The chairs had a silk purple sash on them.

Even the name tag on the table was so adorable.

We had an awesome salad that I forgot to take a picture of, and then look at the entree, delicious!! Yes, BFF that is asparagus….stinky pee!! Ha!

Desert was a banana cheese cake…I should have weighed myself before I came.

After dinner it was time to head back to my room, I wanted to get my pajamas on and relax, I am not going to set the alarm I am just going to get up whenever. We have an easy day tomorrow, make n takes whenever we want to do them, there is a shuttle to take us shopping and Meg and I are going to do that. We have the Tea Party and Pajama party tomorrow night. I'll have to iron my pajamas.

Oh and wanna see what was on my bed? No? OK…oh wait someone in the back raised their hand…here ya go…

Filled with make n take goodies…I can't show you though as their is a new stamp set in there…you are going to love it…

Founder's Circle 2011 Day One 030 copy
Look how cute the inside of the box is, all decorated.  It's all in the details…I love Stampin' Up! they sure do treat us good!

Well I gotta say nightie night.  I'll post more tomorrow…I'll send facebook pictures as I can, not secret stuff though, that's a no-no.

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Thanks so much for posting your Founders Circle pics, and congratulations to you and all of those in Founders Circle. I can only image how much work and dedication it takes to get to this point as a demonstrator. You are an inspiration.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
