When I saw this little "cupcake" cupcake holder that my friend Robin Merriman made and showed on the Alaska cruise I knew I would want to do it for our Fall Fest.
You can see how Robin did it here. Love ya Robin!
Here's a few different views of it. I added a jewelry tag on the front hung with some bakers twine on the cherry cobbler seam binding, and a little gel pen on the cherry. We also had sponged on some smooch spritz on the embossed cupcake top to give it some shimmer.
Isn't it so cute? It is so amazing all the things that you can make with the petal cone die.
You can actually put a real cupcake inside it, I would wrap it with cello so you can re-use the little cupcake holder. Here I just stuck the little cupcake we made at one of our other events to show how cute it is…obviously if you make a big fat sky high cupcake like some on the cooking shows, it might not fit.
Well I better sign off here and go to bed early, I gotta get up early to get my butt to Jeff's work so he can take me to the airport and then get back to work.
Don't forget, now through September 12 you can earn Double Country Dozen Rewards.
Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.
Have a wonderful time at Leadership! You deserve this special time. I am sure you will enjoy every minute. I'm looking forward to reading about it when you get back!
That's absolutely adorable..
This is super cute!! TFS 🙂
Wow! I've been away from the blogs for a few days, so I didn't know you'd done this! LOVE your version! As always, you rock! Hope you're having fun across the border – sorry about your tooth. I broke one on vacation, so not fun.
Gonna miss you next week, but I'm so happy not to be traveling right now. Be safe and have FUN!!
