Three’s Company

This 'n' That

14 Aug

Thanks for all the well wishes, I really appreciate all of you. I got a room mate plus one on a lounge chair over night. Thank goodness I’m deaf as the TV was on all night. I just threw my extra pillow over my head cause of the light.
Saw the doc yesterday and I opted to blast my stone with soundwaves or something instead of surgery as it seemed less evasive. That happens Monday and if all goes ok I can go home then too. Thank goodness for drugs as I guess the thing is huge and no way will I pass it. Probably was forming when I was having issues a few months ago.
Jeff spent a couple hours here after work and brought my chargers. Poor guy I slept most of the time. Seems that is all I do.
Rhonda,my sweet dear friend, stopped by with flowers from her, MAMMa and Tracy plus lots of hugs from everyone.
Well I better sign off, roomie is snoring, guess I’ll turn on the Tv, just kidding!
Big hugs,
Di – on location hospital bed 924

Di: I am sooooo happy that you are in good hands and they have given your pain a name (though not a pleasant name-at least you know what your dealing with). Sending a TON of Well Wishes from the Tucson area and hope you are back home and running in no time. Keep us all posted – Hugs from Kadie.

    Hi Di,
Praying for your speedy recovery! You are always so cheery & positive. You always brighten my day with your blog. I'm sorry I don't comment often, but I do enjoy reading about your adventures and seeing your beautiful creations. I hope your pain is under control and I will be saying prayers for you, especially on Monday! They can do miraculous things nowdays with non-invasive procedures. I hope you can get some rest and are back home soon. Blessings, Mary

Oh you sweet girl. I thought about you all day long and felt badly that I had not opened up your blog that night when I saw you posted late. I wanted to save your post for my "iced coffee with Di" in the morning. Had I read your post I would have know you were on your way to the hospital.
So glad you can not hear your roomies. I hate loud noises, chatter, tv, music. It makes me very nervous.
Hope the pain stays under control until your procedure. I am sure you can't wait to get back home and get busy.
    Sending well wishes your way!

Well, dayam, girl. Turn my back for a few days and you end up in the hospital! Have to watch you every minute! Glad Jeff got the mini-cooper finished and hope you get rid of the feral cats. Fiji is growing so fast, but Toby still has his crush on her! Hope your non-invasive blasting works. I'll try to be more on top of things.

Sending ((((( BIG HUGS ))))))!!! I had the PCNL surgery in Jan. 2006 and boy it was a doozy!!! So having them blasted is awesome. Make sure you ask for something to help your bladder when they put the stint in after they blast it. Mine always spasmed… this will make you a little more comfortable.

Good luck!!! Keep us posted. I miss your posts already!

Sending prayers for a speedy recovery. I hear those kidney stones can be really painful, that's where the good meds come in I suppose! 🙂 Rest while you can, especially while your roomie is resting! LOL

Good luck tomorrow – sounds like you'll be back to feeling better soon.

I'm so sorry you aren't well. I'll keep you in my prayers for a quick recovery. I've had a lot of surgery's. But have been lucky to never have that. I remember my mother use to have those. Very painful. Sleep is best anyway.

Just catching up after a crazy week; not as crazy as yours. They say the only pain that compares to a kidney stone is labor. After labor you have a sweet baby; after a kidney stone you are just glad it is over. Prayers for a quick recovery! MJ

I had that surgery a few years ago. I had them on each kidney so they had to wait 6 weeks in between to make sure they both didn't shut down at the same time. Basically a painless procedure. You should be back to your normal self in a few days!
