Tea for Me?

This 'n' That

18 Aug

002 copy

Well it's another episode of the Days of Our Lives with what is up with my guts.

Today was pretty miserable only cause, well I have not done a certain thing since Friday, and it is a daily regular function and so I have been drinking coffee, eating bran, eating prunes, taking stool softeners, you name it.  The pain pills have messed up my system and I am not taking anymore that they perscribed to me, I just took advil today, the stuff they gave me made me have horrible nightmares.

The nurse called me from the hospital to check on me and I mentioned this little problem, and she said if things didn't "move" by tomorrow I needed to call my regular doctor as I would be in worse shape then before, but luckily tonight halleluigh and all that, things have moved along and I feel better.

Gee aren't you wishing you had changed the channel about a couple paragraphs ago?

I did want to show you the pretty tea cup of roses I got today from Donna & Connie, and I also got a bunch of thank you cards in the mail too, you are all so sweet to me.  Rhonda had brought me flowers to the hospital from her, my BFF Tracy and MAMMa, and I only have a picture with my phone so it does not show how beautiful they really were,

they had hydrangeas, an iris I think and green roses, I am trying to dry them and if I can't I might just try to find silk and make it up again, cause it was so pretty.

These teacup roses are gorgeous too, the delivery guy called cause he was lost, so I met him at the door in my new Founder's Circle pajamas that I put on the other day cause it was the only ones I had clean and were walk around the house presentable.

If you look at it quick it looks like a round glass vase but it is a teacup and saucer, how neat eh? I can use it later.

Well I feel a little rumbling down below, so I best run.

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in and putting up with my life.

A signature white 5

Glad to know that things moved along. My son had a situation like that and kept him from school for several days last year.
I love the flowers, they look beautiful in the pics. I can't wait to see what kind of grand card you come up with using these as your idea inspiration.
god bless you and have a wonderful day.

…so glad you are home and on your way to recovery! next time you have issues mix prune juice with orange juice, it doesn't taste so bad either…believe me it does work. 🙂 I had that after a surgery and 2 trips to the ER…..I wish someone would have told me that right after surgery. 🙂

Check with your doc or the nurse, but magnesium oxide 400mg, twice a day really helps move things along! Good luck!

I am so glad you are doing better and things are moving along for you. You flowers are beautiful and if I know you after reading you daily for the last 2 years then you will make a card that will be inspired by them. I can't wait to see it.

Oh, Di, glad things are "movin" in the right direction! It's a b**** to go through that particular ailment, let alone all the reasons you were suffering through this in the beginning!!!! Take care and I hope you are back to 100% very soon!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
