One of the fun things we did was a card portfolio and 4 cards with envelopes to go inside. We have not done the portfolio at an event, but I remember doing them at classes years ago and it is one of those things you kind of forget about so when we were going to use the Beau Notes this was too cute not to do. I think everyone loved it.
My fellow Artisan award winner (when we won a few years back) Fran Sabad made some adorable cards and projects this year for her demonstration at convention, so most of these are copied or inspired by her, thanks Fran, I'm bowing to ya honey!
Here it is open, it is so easy to make you take a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock and you score it at 5 1/2" on the 11" side, then turn it and score it 2" on the 8 1/2" side, fold this up and you will see you cut it in the center a bit so the two folded edges don't crease over each other when you close it. Keep the 2" folded piece that the cards go in attached to the portfolio with a few dimensionals this will give the cards and envelopes some room, only put the dimensionals on the outside edge, the center is not glued.
Then we made 4 cards to go inside.
Going through my notes, the Marina Mist card was inspired by my sweet friend GoDiva Mum Robin Merriman, love ya GF!!
The last one was cased almost identical from the ever so talented Kimberly Van Diepen. Thanks Kimberly!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the portfolio! Can you please list the sets and paper used? I can't wait to get started! What a great gift… I will for sure "gift" one to myself! lol
I just love card portfolios. They make great hostess gifts, door prizes, etc. I love yours, especially the Pink Pir. and Soft Suede colors. Soooo yummy. Looks like you had a good turnout for your Fall Fest. I'd a been there if I could'a, but Florida is just too far. Shows your temp as 108 as I type. Ick! But, IT'S A DRY HEAT!
