Fall Fest Baby

This 'n' That

19 Aug

But you gotta say it like on Twilight when they say "La Push Baby"

Today Rhonda came over and we got lots done on Fall Fest prep, it's 11:42pm and she just left, we would have got more done but…

002 copy
…another Haboob came through, hard to see I should of got out from under the carport, but it was raining a little, and I'm sugar and I melt…ok not really that's just a little joke Jeff and I have.  But anyway, it made the power go off for maybe two hours, and cutting paper in the dark is not so good, so Rhonda and I sat in the house and chatted and then realized the little restaurant down the street had power, so we figured it was supper time anyway, so by the time we got our to go order, it was raining really hard and water was already starting to pool on the roads and in the lane way. The lights were on by then too.

So today we did this…

001 copy
…sorted and then…

004 copy
…bagged.  92 of those babies!!! We also got most of the cardstock cut and we have the DSP to do now, plus Big Shotting. I was gonna show you the little bags with the embellishments, cause they were cute and colorful but it uses new stuff and I don't think I can show it where its not on a card or something, so I won't but believe me, super cute.

Oh and if you purchased my PDF for Water Coloring with Ink Refills lately and you have not got it yet, let me know, I came home to almost 400 emails and have been trying to go through them and I was trying to find all the paypal notifications but I missed one, and thankfully she let me know, so I could find it, so please let me know, cause I generally get those out the same day they come in.

Well this old girl is saying nightie night! I'm gonna sleep good tonight!

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Yech to the weather but thank heavens you had someone to share it with. It looks like you are going to have fun. It also sounds like you are feeling a little better.

Di: Didn't that storm yesterday just ROCK your worl! It rained so hard here in SaddleBrooke that we actually had STANDING WATER in our front yard – Such a cool storm.

Sounds like you're making progress on the prep work for your upcoming Fall Fest (insert sad face here-I can't attend). Congrats on your total number of attendees – Just know your going to put on a fabulous event and everyone will have a super good time. HAVE FUN and see you on Sunday for your watercolor class.

Well, I was bad and didn't check on you for several days. Pretty flowers, lots of prep for your Fall Fest. Can't believe you are giving away a whole sponge in each kit! Glad everything came out all right, in both ways! Being bound up after surgery is no fun. Fleets, anyone? Stay off your feet and rest for awhile. Quit going out to look at haboobs!

I'm so curious about fall fest. What do you charge and what do you do and what do they get to keep? It looks amazing.

I looked on your blog for "upcoming events" for info but didn't see anything like that.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
