Another Quickie

This 'n' That

17 Aug

004 copy

Some how I thought I would get the blasting done (we opted for that over surgery since it was less evasive), and I would pee out the little sands of stone and I would all be good, but today I still feel sore and groggy, and I guess I better not push myself too quickly, I have been getting lots of emails about that, to take it easy and heal.  I still have a twinge on my right side where the doctor two months ago talked about my appendix, but I wonder if it is just stones swimming around waiting to be…released…who knows.

I did finally take a shower and that felt good, our water heater died while I was in the hospital it actually burned a bit on the bottom, so luckily Jeff caught that and had it replaced.

I will post another card from my Little Friends class and I will say night night!

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

Glad you're home and on the mend. You should take your pain meds so you can SLEEP and HEAL – plus Toby can snuggle with you and that always helps ๐Ÿ™‚
    Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Wow-I was gone a few days, and come back to you feeling bad. Glad they have you on the mend though! Make sure you rest up like they said, you don't want to overdo! My hubby gets kidney stones, and they are awful. Hang in there!

Welcome back again. Glad you are a little better. You have some fun things that are already made up in your studio so just show pics of them so you can take it easy.

Hugs from Carey and licks from Roscoe

Oh please take it easy, then you can get on your toes faster. I am sure you are like me where you do everything for everyone else, but please take care of YOURSELF!
Your card is so cute. Can you teach me how to color, please!

Glad you are doing a little better. It seems like it takes FOREVER for the little gravely bits to flush out! Keep drinking lots of water and if you need pain meds cut them puppies in half or quarters and take them every 2 hours like I had to do. That stuff is wicked! I took smaller doses for 2 days them went to Tylenol every 4 hours. So much better! Take care and will continue to pray for you. ๐Ÿ™‚

So happy to hear you are taking it easy and giving yourself some time to rest and heal. I love looking at your watercolor cards. I am going to teach this technique in my Sept. classes. You are an inspiration!
    God bless you!!!

Hope you heal well and can get back to feeling yourself soon!! Doesn't sound fun (but thank goodness for modern medicine, right?) And I love that background paper on this card: what set is it from? If you just want to post it with your next blog post you can: I'm subscribed to your blog so I read them all. (And I love your style of writing: It is so natural and fun!!) thanks and speedy recovery ๐Ÿ™‚

I have heard those blasts are like taking a punch. Glad you are feeling better but you should take it easy for awhile. Maybe this is your body's way of telling you to slow down a bit because it needs a rest.

Glad to hear you are home and feeling at least a bit better. I have had 3 stones, and couldn't pass any of them, and had lithotripsy with all 3 as well. I have several really large ones that they are wanting to bust as well. You will not feel good for a bit due to the litho. Take it easy.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
