…unless you are a UPS driver who leaves my packages at the wrong house…again…and a vacant house with a for sale sign on it…again…then you are not nice…and I am going to have him wrote up, cause this is getting ridiculous.
Whew…that feels better, thanks for letting me vent. I knew I had some orders coming, and I was at Rhonda's all day, so I get home about 9pm thinking I would have two boxes, and nope not here, I check the UPS tracking and they were left at the front door. Well I looked at the back door, side door, front door, heck I even checked my barn door…no package. So I made Eric come with me since it was dark and lightening and I am thinking oh my gosh that stuff will sit out all night and get rained on, and we went out with the truck and a flashlight that is getting dim…note to self I need to buy new batteries. There were my packages sitting at an empty house, not even close to the right address, and the danged UPS guy had to climb through a fence to do it…cause I had to climb through the fence to get them…in the dark…did I say that? With a dim flashlight…scared there might be snakes…but I will do many things, leap tall buildings, swim a shark infested sea, fight off a snake…well maybe not that, but I will climb through a fence, saying not nice words the whole time to get my Stampin' Up! packages. So believe me tomorrow morning, UPS is getting a call and I'm gonna report the driver, this is not the first time this has happened. Sounds mean, but heck if the address doesn't match, you don't leave the package right? #&%^*$!!!!!
OK I ranted again…sorry!
So today we got most of our Fall Fest make n takes pretty much figured out, there are always odds and ends we change, but they are adorable. So I will show you one of my display samples that I did for convention (I still have a bunch I have not shown you) and I hope I have not posted this one already. Then I gotta get to bed, I could not sleep last night, I tossed and turned and probably fell asleep at 3am only to get up at 7am, so I gotta get to bed…it's already almost 10:30pm.
This is my friend and one of my downline Karen's two cutie patootie daughter's Tatum & Simone and they are such great little posers for pictures and such great sports to do that whenever I need to do some pages for Stampin' Up!
This page showcased how adorable the girls are, how pretty Jeff's roses were this spring, and it also showed off the new stamp set Raining Flowers that we got at convention.
OK, after all the missing boxes excitement (it always seems to happen when I am not home to catch it) I need to get some shut eye. I will explain MAMMa's bakers twine gift better in another post though, I just didn't have time to do it today.
Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.
Gotta love the UPS guy! 3 times now mine has said either nobody was here to sign or he couldn't find my well marked house after he zooms right by! You would think that in this economy they would be extra helpful to keep their job! The Fedex guy is always nicer.
Love the sweet page! Cute kids and those roses are spectacular!
Next time ya order something – make sure you are not busy that day and go crawl through the fence and sit on an old rocker on the porch with your rifle – and scare him off the property down to the correct house down the road!
Luv ya
Jax
You have the right to rant! I'd been insane!! Let us know what UPS has to say. I think I'd go there in person.
Bad UPS man, bad UPS man. I think he should be grounded this weekend. Glad you found your stuff. Thank heavens for Eric going with you. Note to Diana: buy batteries because I if that guy doesn't get fired or reprimanded he will do this again and you will have to use the flashlight with low batteries again.
Carey and Roscoe
Well that sucks – my UPS dudes are awesome (and cute, hence another reason to shop online – lol). I had a female UPS driver for years and she was equally awesome. Either he needs glasses or a new brain – smack him between the eyes – like any lion without a brain he'll roar at first, but eventually back down, and heel (lol). Men.
My regular guys are awesome, but the temps just seem to want to put the package wherever and finish their route….not good!
Hugs,
Di
Venting is good Di and you certainly made me laugh–I know not funny, but the way you wrote it, is was! What determination, but good thing you found your stamping orders and Eric went with you on your mission! Jax has the right idea! Love the pictures and roses.
hugs, Rose
I can just hear the UPS customer service people, there, there, it won't happen again, blah, blah. I liked Jax' idea! Maybe post a big sign on the vacant house. "Di does not live here!"
Sorry to hear that. My UPS guy is not too smart either. Twice he delivered my orders to the wrong houses. Other times, he just rang the door bell or pound on the door and ran, never ask for signature. They are always in a rush. Thank goodness, there are honest people out there who return my packages to me. One person even ask for I'd :).
Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us. I take my time to read your post few times a week.
