What’s Real?

This 'n' That

21 Jun

Can I ask a favor? If you sign up for my email newsletters (the little sign up thing is on the left hand side colomn) and decide that down the road you don't want to get them anymore, just opt out, it is simple to do…and please don't say it's spam before you opt out.  It does not happen very often just once in a while, but it makes me look bad to the email company I use.

This is real Spam…

SpamReg
…my email newsletters are not when you signed yourself up to get them. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it and I hope you don't think I am rude for asking!!!

Ok now to the fun stuff, I got the cutest card from Denise when she sent me her check for her catalog and that made me get this set, so at class I just tweaked her card a bit, and this is the one they did. I will have to remake one to show you how she did the inside.  The class card did not do it.

001 copy
Stamp Set: Friends Fur-Ever

Paper: Whisper White, Pacific Point

Ink: Pacific Point, Real Red (I love these colors together, they compliment each other so well)

Misc: Real Red Striped ribbon (retiring…yikes!!), vintage trinkets, thank goodness they are staying, jewlery tag punch

002 copy
What the heck did I ever do before the vintage trinkets and that jewelry tag punch?

OMG! No wonder everyone thought the blue piece was on the bottom, I just now realized that all my sayings are upside down, ha!  I just kept stamping and spinning the paper, and didn't pay attention when I glued it together…geesh!

I am pretending this little dog is Toby. They are so adorable. There is a bunch more pieces with the set.

OK, I am going to sign off for the night, I am working on my GoDiva swap cause that needs to get in the mail.  This time of year always goes slow like the night before Christmas as a kid, I can hardly wait to order from the new catalog cause I wanna get my hands on new stuff, and I have nada DSP except the First Edition Specialty and the few that we could pre-order, I really want new stuff…I feel like that old Mervyns commercial with the lady on the outside of the glass saying "Open! Open! Open!" Ha!

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks so much for stopping in!

A signature white 5

Di, not a rude request at all. You are simply educating those who don't already know it's not a good thing for you with respect to your ISP.

    Cute card!

Did you eat that can of Spam after the photo shoot? LOL! Love your card but I have to admit that I thought it was upside down too! Do I need to subscribe to your newsletter? Or is that the same as following your blog? I don't want to miss anything!

Ahhh . . SPAM!!! Cute visual to get your point across! I happen to hail from Austin, Minnesota . . . a lovely little town whose only "claim to fame" is that it's the corporate headquarters of the Hormel Company . . . maker of SPAM!! (there's a meat packing plant/slaughterhouse there, too . . . ) I grew up in a family whose one and only investment strategy was "buy Hormel stock" . .. and hold it . . .and hold it . . .and hold it . . and pass it down to your kids!! So keep eatin' that fantastic SPAM!!! My brother and I thank you so much! (LOL!)

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
