Cherish Friendship

This 'n' That

24 Jun

006 copy

Maybe it should be called "Chair"ish Friendship?

So when I saw the new catalog, this set jumped out at me and I knew I needed to get it, and then when Stampin' Up! showed us the sets that we could pre-order ahead of time (one of the Demonstrator perks) and this was one of them, well I took that as a definite sign that it had to come home with me.

012 copy
It could also be called the Aflec set cause of the goose.

This is the card that I did for Robin's GoDiva swap.

010 copy
Stamp Set: Cherish Friendship, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Watercolor paper

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, RIver Rock, Sahara Sand, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie

Misc: Jewelry tag punch, crochet trim, vintage trinkets, cutter kit

To get the longer jewelry tag and the fish tail on the tag you can see how I did it on this past blog post.

I also have a 7 page PDF on how to watercolor with ink refills, and you can read more about it on this past post.

Today I worked on the stamp club cards, and tomorrow I need to get my upcoming class figured out, then I need to try to maybe make some swaps for convention. That will be here before I know it!!

Don't forget about the retiring stamp sets, accessories and Decor Elements. The accessories list updates because things run out, here is an updated list.

To order anything off the retiring list, my on-line store is open 24-7. Thanks!!

I'm gonna sign off and head to bed a bit early tonight so I can get up bright and early tomorrow.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks so much for stopping in.

Cute card and I love the coloring as usual. I will always think of the Aflac goose with Gilbert Gottfried's voice. Hee hee

Hi Di. It's funny but when I saw this set, I immediately thought of you! The card is beautiful and maybe I will need to rethink getting this set. I think I probably said to myself, "I am going to wait and see what Di does with this first. Ha ha ha. Have a great weekend. Wishing I could be at convention to give you a hug but will be in Georgia instead giving my dad a hug for his 80th b-day.

What a fabulous card! I got that stamp set, too. But I've only colored the cherries so far. My naked chair awaits me!

Love your card…I think Lucky Limeade is my favorite new color. Can't wait to get this in my hands!

I have been hearing Scotty McCreery's "Love you this Big" on the radio. Is it playing in Arizona yet?

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
