Well Behaved Women

This 'n' That

4 May

006 copy

Today was so much fun, I have been looking forward to it.  Actually there has been lots of stuff to look forward to lately, so much that my nerves must be acting up and I woke up to a danged old cold sore, so I have been sucking down the L-Lysine pills and putting medicine on it.  I am glad it came now and not for our trip, I just hope it clears up before we are gone, and I don't get another one…sometimes I'll get two.  Crummy things.

So today MAMMa and I made plans to grab a quick bite and go see "Water for Elephants", I love doing stuff with MAMMa, and it has been a while since we had some one on one time. The movie was so good, and they did a great job of doing up the book, a couple characters were kind of combined, but I would definitely go see it again.  Edward, I mean Robert Pattinson did a great job, and the August character, oh I hated him as much in the movie as the book. I cried a few times and if you read the book, or even if you didn't I would suggest going to see it.  If you did, did you like it?

So I wanted to show another of the ATC cards from my tray.  This is based on a card I did earlier, and it uses a greeting set from a past mini catalog, but I thought it was perfect.

005 copy
Stamp Set: Chic Boutique, Favorite Thoughts (I am hoping this will come back into the new catalog)

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Crumb Cake

Paper: Newsprint, Basic Black, Watercolor paper, Springtime Vintage DSP, grid sheet for the "measuring tape ribbon"

Misc: vintage trinkets, dotted scallop ribbon border, sticky strip

My thank you cards for April on-line orders went out today, so if you placed an online order with me in April watch your mail box. Do you get my email newsletters?  Not my blog posts, but my monthly newsletters for specials and classes and stuff like that?  If not, don't miss out.  Over to the left there is a box that says: Sign up for my Email Newsletter – make sure to add your name in there and that way you won't miss anything.

Well this old gal is off to bed, my good friend Melissa showed me how to sync my Nookie with the Nook app on my Precious, but I can't figure out how to let my Nookie know that I have read ahead on my Precious…Kinda like Who's on Second eh? A little confusing.

Have an awesome Wednesday, don't forget to watch American Idol.

Thanks for stopping in!

I did not read the book but saw the movie and thought it was fabulous! Reece Witherspoon is one of my favorites and she was incredible. I got a little teary-eyed in a few places too!

Have a great time on the cruise!

See you in July in SLC.

Thanks for the usual fun and excitement. I have had to work too many nights in a row. I have been reading the posts kind of clumped together. I missed you. I haven't heard about Toby lately?

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
