Punches

17 May

800px-RCA_Indian_Head_test_pattern

Remember this showing up late at night on your TV? I do, does that make me old? I think it does.  I think growing up in Canada we saw it more than in the United States.  We did not have cable growing up so we were limited to what channels we could get with rabbit ears. We always talked about the "states channels" meaning shows that only the US got. Too funny when I think back.

But anyway, I didn't forget to do my Mimeograph Monday card, I am going to take a break and catch up with everything before our trip and will come back to that when we get home. So you will see odds and ends of things for a while, I will also be taking my laptop with me, BUT the internet is really expensive on the ship so I doubt I will be blogging every day from there, I'll have some posts to go while I am gone, and try to touch base when I can.

I wanted to share another card from the shoebox swap, this card I think was by Lynda, and I love the colors and how bright and summery it is.

Stamp Set: Bold Blossom

Paper: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight

Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade

Misc: Decorative Label punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Rhinestone brads, Poppy Parade Stitched Poly ribbon, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch.

Don't you just love those punches and whatever did we do before we scrunched up the ribbon? Ha!

To order any of the Stampin' Up! products shown here, my on-line store is open 24/7 – Thanks!

I want to thank everyone for signing up for my email newsletter (if you haven't yet, it's over on the top left and says sign up for my email newsletter) and taking advantage of my cruise special, I really appreciate it.

I am gonna hit the hay a bit early tonight, I got a couple appointments in the morning and believe it or not a bit more shopping to do.  I still have to try on my clothes too. Tops are fine, it's the lower end I'm worried about…ha!

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!

A signature white 5

I don't remember that thing – only the coloured lines and the loud beep noise.
So if you take your laptop – type up all your stuff BEFORE you log on to the internet – that way the only time you are paying for is the time it takes to upload everything to your site or to send your emails. You don't need to be connected to the internet to type stuff – only to upload or download – so do it offline – then go online – it will save you some $$ for sure.
    Luv ya

Hi Di! I'm in the "Old Boat" with you – as I seriously remember this test pattern. LOVE your card – Just ordered this punch and it should be here on Wednesday – might just have to CASE this card for some cards my daughter wants me to make for her kids teachers (end of year)…..Do you mind? Thanks for sharing yet another amazing card with us!

Di, I hope you have a wonderful time on your crusie to Alaska! I know you do not watch Castle, but OMG this was the best ever episode last night which was their season finale…did not see that coming…I love this show as it reminds me of a modern day "Moonlighting" that I use to watch w/Cybil Shepherd and Bruce Willis. Later, gf!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
