My Math Teacher Would Be So Proud…

This 'n' That

14 May

003 copy

…or not! or might even say "she hasn't changed a bit!"

I am so embarassed, so I thought I was close to 2 million hits…well seems like on my one calculator it works a little different then the calculator that I am used to and well…um…the comma was in the wrong spot so it seems like I have a bit further to go then I thought…ha! Too funny…right? This is why I measure in dits and not eights and sixteens and things…

The other night my friend and upline Rhonda (hey sugar) had her shoebox swap and this is one of the cards, I think it was Marjori's card.  Since I got to make them I don't have anyone's name on the back. I added some gel pen dots to the center of the flowers. I'm a tweaker.

Stamp Set: Just Believe

Paper: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight

Ink: Wild Wasabi, Rich Razzleberry

Misc: Final press embossing folder, Daffodil Delight Taffeta ribbon, Boho Blossoms punch, white gel pen, word window punch

I have my first round of watercoloring classes tomorrow, this is the third time I have done this class, each time the stamp set and cards are different.  If you don't live in Arizona and can't take my watercoloring class, I do have a 7 page PDF for sale on my blog to teach you how.  You can find that link here.

Well I got a bit more work to do while I wait for the Jay Leno show to come on. James Durbin is going to be on there, and I can't wait to see him.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in!

A signature white 5

And wasn't he GREAT on Jay Leno? I really enjoyed it and I don't even care for Jay Leno but had to watch! I think Scotty is going to win now, don't you? I don't care for the girl's talent that much……

Very cute card, and very "doable." I would not have thought about adding those punched flowers. The white gel pen dots are perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Sooo sorry that James didn't make it all the way. I haven't been following Idol this season, but I do faithfully follow your blog, so I knew you were rooting for him. When I heard he got voted off, my only thought was, "Oh no — poor Di!!" He'll be just fine; in a lot of cases, it seems like the runners up are more successful than the winners!

I love the card. What a great idea to put flowers on those little stem thingies. Tell Marjori she did a bang up job. Are you feeling better yet? Just concentrate on being on the boat and you will be fine.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
