Have a Seat

This 'n' That

10 May

012 copy

Tonight's post is gonna be a quickie. I just got back from Rhonda's meeting and it's like 11:30pm.  One of my friends and downline Anne went with me and we met at MAMMa's and then she drove the rest of the way.  It is our shoebox swap where we meet at Keegan's. We usually meet a bit early, and eat then we do the shoebox, and it is always so much fun.  The ride home was fun too, and we were all laughing, so it seemed like we barely left the restaurant and we were home already.

So I am excited to show you some of the shoebox swaps, as well as more of the ATC cards from class, and also class cards coming up.

I was honored to be asked again by Stampin' Up! to stamp display samples for convention so I have that to work on, so you may see some best of my blog posts, as I never did finish out the best of last year, while I get those worked on.

This is another card from the ATC tray class, I love this set, and I wanted to add the heart like a pillow. I would love to live where I could have a nice porch like my BFF Tracy's house, and have a bench like this, but where we live in the desert, in one day it's covered in dust, and I swear within a couple nights the spiders have made webs…gotta love nature…or not.

011 copy
Stamp Set: Tiny Tags, Have a Seat

Paper: Crumb Cake, Love Letters DSP, Riding Hood Red

Ink: Early Espresso, Riding Hood Red

Misc: Striped Basic Black ribbon, cut in half to make thinner and frayed, vintage trinkets, heart to heart punch, jewelry tag punch, white gel pen

You know, I think I only have one more ATC card to show you, I think I showed all I got done, I am waiting for the new catalog to do more, cause I know there is bound to be new stuff I want to use.

OK, I said it would be quick, and well that's all she wrote…ha!

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.

A signature white 5

Your tray is going to be the cutest thing ever when you get it finished. Can't wait to see it done. How do you do the shoebox swaps? They sound interesting. Have a great day today.

Can't wait to see what you create for convention displays. After a 2-year absence, I'm thrilled to say "I'll be there!" … Patricia

That is sooo pretty – your tray will be just awesome. Well I've always wanted a porch too and I don't live in the desert- keep on asking hubby to build one ha! Jeff's roses are beautiful (meant to comment on them before) – weird how they grow so beautiful in the desert but you can't grow grass. Congrats on presenting at convention. Maybe one year I will get there – my 23 yo getting married in July $$$. Karen

Of course SU would ask you again! Congrats!
Sit outside! You must be joking! Not gonna happen around here, either. Summer has come to Central Florida. AC was on all night!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
