So a while ago I was going out the back door and I looked down and saw this, and I was like oh no…what does it look like to you?
To me it looked like a baby hummingbird laying there. When I looked closer it was a seed pod or something. Neat eh?
It is weird how our eyes see things. Last weekend when Jeff and I were driving around there was a car in front of us with a white decal on the back window and we both looked at it, and Jeff said "I think it's an elk" and I'm like "yeah, could be" cause you could kinda see where horns might be, and I looked at it more, and then I saw it, and I was like "it's Jesus" and he was like "what?" and I'm like "yeah you can see Jesus' head with the crown of thorns" and sure enough once you knew what to look for it was plain as day, so I don't know if that was the purpose of it being made like that, that it made you think? Who knows. It was Easter after all when we saw it.
Today one of my friends was having a hard time finding a refill amongst all her many bottles, she had them dumped on the floor, so I quick took a picture how I have mine to show her.
I took a small circle punch and punched a piece out of each color cardstock then I glue dotted it on the top of the bottle, now the colors are easier to find. They fit inside one of the drawers in my little black jewelry case.
So today was a very fun mail day, earlier this morning I was hearing a buzz that our cruise packet was showing up today, the Canadian girls were getting theirs Fed Ex, but us in the US were getting ours by UPS. So when I heard that familiar toot, I rushed out and met Curtis at the truck door, and he handed me the packet and it was squishy and he says "is it a t-shirt" and I'm like "no, it's my cruise documents" and I opened it to show him and OMG!! this is the best little package I have ever gotten, they are all cute, but this is adorable, and will be used for other things way past cruise. Hmmm…I wonder if Nookie will fit in it?
It even has a rubber stamp sewn on it.
Then you unzip it and all the goodies are in there, travel documents, luggage tags, lanyards with our name tags, a book to keep track of stuff…and I even got a bracelet in mine…in fact four of them…
Of course I'll have to put it back on my luggage tag before the trip, but hey I love it! It don't take much to make me happy does it? Jeff is rolling his eyes right now.
Here's the notebook to keep track of our days and stuff, I put post it notes in there on the days where we have stuff planned so I don't forget. Jeff's going Halibut fishing in Ketchikan and he can't stop talking about it.
I did not have any time to really look at it, as I have classes all weekend and was getting ready for those.

Excited for you and your Alaska trip. You will have such an awesome time. For your other comments, the other day I got home and was ready to go in the house and there in front of the garage door was something that looked like a snake. And guess what it was? A snake!!! I hate those things. Wish it had just been my imagination.
Oh how fun! I would be beside myself excited about that cruise! A cruise to Alaska is high up on my bucket list.
I so need to take your advice on the re-inker bottles. I have a ton of them since I kept even the colors that retired 2x ago. I'm like your friend when I need to find a particular one!
