Somewhere in Time

Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

6 Apr

007 copy

When I mentioned the heaven like movies the other day, a few of you emailed and said one of your favorites was "Somewhere in Time" and I agree that is a good one too. That one always bothers me a bit in the ending cause I don't know if he goes back to be with her like he was before, or if he dies and she meets him in heaven, and I guess really does it matter? They are together that is the main thing, but I wish I knew.

So it made me think of another movie I totally love and that is "The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan" with Lyndsey Wagner. I have not seen it in years and years. That is an awesome movie and I remembered trying to find it on DVD a couple years ago and could not. So then I looked the other day and I found it online at Walmart and ordered it, I can't wait till it gets here. In fact Lenoria emailed me to ask if I had ever seen the Jennie Logan movie and I was like oh my gosh shivers went up my spine cause I had just ordered it…funny eh? I am going to take it over to MAMMa's and watch it, cause she has never seen it.

So the other night when I was so excited to be watching The Chopped All-Stars with my BFF Tracy (her in PA) and we are texting back and forth, we totally forgot the Country Music Awards were on, and apparently they were the best in years. I am hoping that CMT replays it cause I think they usually do. So if anyone knows, please oh please let me know.  Till then I will be content to watch this over and over and over…

Isn't that the coolest thing? See all the flashbulbs going off and everyone standing up when Steven comes out? Love it…do you think they will re-do that on American Idol? I mean Carrie Underwood was a winner one year, and I am not sure, but I think she is probably the most popular and most successful one of all the years…oh wait maybe that was Chris Allen? Who?  Yeah…ha! Oh man I must have taken my mean pill.

So anyway back to this awesome card.  This is a case of Jenn Picard's card, she is not only an awesome stamper she is beautiful, and I am going to teach her how to add a watermark to her cards. Cause I totally gave the credit to the butterfly prints card to a different Jenn, then when I tried hunting for it do you think I could find it? No! Cause I had the wrong Jenn…sorry girlfriend, I hope you are going to Convention so I can hug your neck!

Stamp Set: Extreme Guitar, Extreme Elements

Paper: Sahra Sand, Bashful Blue, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White

Ink: Sahra Sand, Bashful Blue, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black

Misc: Star punch, silver brad

This is one of the cards from my 10/10/20 Birthday class coming up and I made it a week or more ago, and how perfect it goes with the video eh? Sometimes things all come together, like you planned it, but really didn't.

So tomorrow we get to register for Convention, I can hardly wait, I have some of my new Demonstrators going so it will be fun to finally meet them and I love watching new Demonstrators enjoy Convention for the first time.  I still remember to this day the excitement I felt all those years ago the first time I went, as the doors opened and the music started, and all the people and I wanted to pinch myself cause I was really there…and really I seriously only signed up for the discount.  Look how times change eh?  I love my job!

Ok enough of my rambling for tonight! I wanna get to bed early so I can get up bright and early and register. Wanna join me at Convention?

Have an awesome Wednesday, don't forget American Idol is on!

Lunchtime – and that means looking at my favorite blog(s)! Love Somewhere in time and OMG "The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan" totally forgot about that one – going to have to see if Netflix has it or I can just fly out to AZ and watch it with you and MaMMa haha! Love the card – just got Extreme Guitar as one of my free Sale-a-Bration items and bought Extreme Elements couple months ago so now I can make this card!. Would love to go to convention but can't again this year, maybe next if still a demonstrator! ok too long of a comment. Karen

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
