Shoebox Fun

Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

13 Apr

007 copy

I had my Downline Shoebox and Pizza party last weekend.  We were missing a few people cause of the weather, and poor Carri got here and her little baby Sara didn't want to be here, so they went home. Thank goodness she just lives around the corner. Toby thought he'd join the girls and stamp. Usually he hides from the camera, but this time it's like he is saying ok if the other's are doing it so will I. Smile!!

MAMMa and I

We talked a lot about Convention and how excited we are to go.

Here are the shoebox cards from the day, I didn't get Carri's done, so I don't have it to show.

April
This was April's card! I love how she embossed it and then we rubbed it with the sanding block to bring out the texture. I actually did this card as a make n take at my workshop the next day, and it was a hit!!

Donna
This was Donna's card.  Boy I am sure missing that owl stamp, let's cross our fingers there are more like this in the new catalog.

Kathya
This was Kathya's card, she had us doing all sorts of tricks, using the Decorative punch twice to get a different shape, I did the corner punch for the first time to do a square…I know bad eh? I love the colors.

Maria
This was Maria's card, I love the puckered ribbon and the drinks, that make my mouth water. Yum!

Marlene
This was Marlene's  (a.k.a MAMMa) card and she used some fun new DSP, new bakers twine, and also the new embossing folder.

001 copy
This was my card, and I showed it the other day.

It was a fun day, and I wish the other girls could have made it, but we were having quite a bit of rain, and some of the roads get flooded out here in the boonies. So they stayed home, better safe then sorry.

Well I'm gonna cut a few more cards and then head to bed.

I hope you have the best Wednesday ever…American Idol is on – the Top 8, don't miss it! Then come back tomorrow for my two cents worth of critiqueing…

Thanks for stopping in!

Di, it looks like you gals had a blast! I am going to convention and staying at the Hilton. I hope I can meet you this summer at convention. I live in Georgia, so it is a long way for me, but so worth it.

Total Toby question…I have a Yorkie that could be Toby's twin, is Toby wearing a "diaper" in that picture. We have great trouble with our little guy and accidents…

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
