This 'n' That

2 Apr

003 copy

I remember growing up we would go to the dime store and they would have these little grab bags by the door, and we would buy one, it was fun to look through the paper bags trying to see if this one was heavier or bulkier, did this one rattle? After you bought it then you could rip open the plain paper bag to see what your goodies were. It was fun to see what toys or candy you would get. I also remember the store had these bins of chocolate bars that were broken and you could buy it by the pound maybe, I can't remember I was a kid, I didn't have to pay, I was with Poppa, I just remember I loved me some chocolate bar and I didn't care if it was busted up…haven't really changed in that way I guess.

In fact my crazy ramblings from yesterday were based on eating two Kit Kat bars (the Canadian chocolate is so much better) and almost a whole bag of Ketchup chips that Lynsay and Donna brought me from Canada…ha!

So back to the grab bags…

Grab bag

Beginning April 1, and continuing while supplies last, you can purchase special "grab bags" in my Online Store. These grab bags will come in three sizes: the $5, the $10, and the $15 grab bag. Each bag will contain a variety of discontinued products that could include a combination of any of the following: ribbons, Accents & Elements, chipboard, Designer Series Papers, and Simply Sent kit components. Grab bags will not contain stamp sets or tools.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Grab bag orders can only be placed in my Online Store.
  • There is no minimum purchase required to participate in the grab bag special offer.
  • There is no limit to the number of grab bags you may purchase; however, grab bag items are only available while supplies last.
  • All grab bag sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
  • Not all grab bags will be unique.
  • You should use the following item numbers when ordering grab bags:

125874

$10 Grab Bag (containing at least $40 worth of products!)

Isn't that cool?  And remember when you place an order in my on-line store you get a hand stamped card from me.  Thank you cards for March on-line orders are going out in the mail Monday.

I wanted to show you another card from my 10/10/20 class and again I went to my fellow Demonstrators for inspiration.  This one was inspired by the very talented Teneale Williams. Is that not a gorgeous name to go along with some gorgeous talent? Thanks Teneale!

Today was a hot one in Arizona, I think it hit 100 degrees, that's a record.  Yikes it's only April 1, maybe it was an April Fool's joke. Let's hope the weather goes back down, this hot is too early.

Well I finished my first book with my Nook app on My Precious, and I loved it, and I am so tempted to get a real Nook because it really does drain my battery which is not a good thing, cause well it is a phone after all.

I still have a bunch of "real books" to be read so I need to get that stack lower before I decide for sure.  If I get one, I would like to get one before our Alaska cruise.

I'm gonna call it a night and head to bed.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks so much for stopping in.

I love that you read. OK, not that you know how but you are a book person like me. I love a good book and always have a book in my purse. It can pulled out at any time for even 3 minutes and you can get into it. Thanks for sharing that great card. It looks like you had a great time at your 10/10/20 class. TFS. That is funny about the weather– 100 at your house yet it is snowing in the northeast. Talk about a relaly weird year for weather. Have a great weekend.

Di Love the card….but on to more important things….my husband bought me the nook but it's very small I purchased the Kindle and the Kindle DX I sent the kindle back because it was the same size as the nook….I love the Kindle DX you can do so much more with it. You can go to target now and see it in person…..same price as on Amazon…good luck with your choice!!!

    Hi Diana,
I love your blog. Thank you so much for sharing yourself and your talent with everyone.

You mentioned thinking about getting a Nook. I'm here to tell you I think you will love it! I rewarded myself with a Nook Color after meeting a goal I set. It was a great incentive. I don't think anything will ever replace the feeling of an actual book in your hands, but the Nook Color is a great substitute. It also gives you the ability to surf the internet, so you won't have to bring a laptop when you travel.

Thanks again for your blog. I check you everyday!

That is such a pretty card. The colors really pop. Hope you are having a great Saturday. It's hot here too but more in the low 90's. We usually skip spring and go straight to summer!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
